The Burger Barn

This is the place to get an old fashioned good Aussie burger. Generous portions, good dine in facilities and a fairly sizeable menu with lots of options. I reckon the Burger Barn will bring back memories of getting take away when you were a kid, and before burgers in Australia were influenced by the US burger trends. A good spot for a quick, no frills, no fuss dinner.

Fantastic service and delightful food! I would have to say, my favourite burger place in Cairns. The restaurant has a lovely cosy and welcoming feel to it, great for a meal with your significant other or the whole family. Highly recommend 😍😊

I went here with a mate after we'd heard about the new burger place in town. What a pleasant surprise! The burgers were FANTASTIC, fairly priced and the staff extremely friendly. I loved the inside of the place, with a local 'outback' kind of feel. Both the perfect venue for a relaxed burger and still nice enough to go on a date! Well done Cairns!

This place is a delight,we went yesterday for the first time. The food was so fresh & patties home made, both the chicken & beef were amazing so too the fresh fries.I would definitely recommend this.

If I could add more stars I would. Just inhaled a “Meat Lovers” burger from this place and let me tell you. It’s beefy! So fresh and delicious. Cheese dripping off the patty, nice soft buns and the sauce... wow! A bit pricey but you get everything that you pay for. Staff were friendly and the table service is a nice touch. Inside the place lives up to its name. Tidy, clean rustic vibe. 10/10 a good time!

Took my partner for dinner here for the first time for Fathers Day. Very friendly atmosphere, friendly staff, food was delicious and wait time was next to nothing. Prices seemed a little high but once you sink your teeth into the mouth watering burger the price speaks for itself. Will definitely be back.

5 Blokes, 5 Stars! We ordered some burgers for lunch for us here at the shop. We thought we'd give it a crack for something different (we were all craving a good burger) and we were definitely pleased. All the burgers we tried were delicious, the chips were fresh and had a lovely seasoning, and those onion rings are awesome!! Thank you Burger Barn! We are definitely coming back!

Really loved it, will definitely be coming back. Would be great for a group of around 12 and under. The Burgers are really good not disappointed at all. Only wished the bun was toasted a bit more.

Excellent variety, fresh ingredients, lean beef, milk bun. What more can a burger lover ask for. Don't be afraid to mix and match. And they have beetroot if you want it. Super friendly service. A must visit, and one visit won't cut it, you will want to try more.

All American Car Club had a lunch run today to "Burger Barn". Excellent service and so friendly.
Food was so fresh and the bun is absolutely yummy, drinks were very cold. We will certainly be back again.

An absolute must for a meal when in Cairns. Awesome atmosphere. Super friendly staff and truly delicious food! Fast service. Couldn't ask for anything more! True country hospitality. I will be back!!!

Saw this place as we came into cairns as I refused to go to mcdonalds. Thought it was just a take away burger shop but realised it was a restaurant as we approached the front door. Our order was served only minutes after ordering. Burgers were very tasty. Made for a very cheap dinner. Everyone was very happy with the food and the kids loved the play area. Shame it doesn't seem more popular as it is a much better option that the big fast food chains.

11/10 would recommend having a feed here! Had every burger on the menu more than once and can safely say that they are all delicious! They are adding new items all the time and especially love the arancini balls and the Halloumi chips, excellent flavours. 😍
