Worth the visit just to experience and DEFINITELY worth the visit if you're shopping for fresh produce. Wow, really wish we had something like this where I live that isn't a commercial grocer.

All I wanted was some fresh fruit as a snack and I was not disappointed. Fantastic!

There are also vendors with prepared food, coffee, clothing, jewelry, gifts. A nice place to support locals.

We had crepes and coffee for breakfast here and they were delectable. This was a great place for fresh produce which we did get. There are plenty of vendors there to purchase trinkets and gifts.

Always pay a visit to this great community market on every trip to Cairns. It's open at the weekends only. Love the colourful stalls displaying tropical fruits & happy banter. There's great coffee to be had here as well as some bakery items.

Saigon Hut in Rusty's Markets.

Absolutely friggin delicious, and beautifully presented. A must try whilst in Cairns.

So usually I get beef pho. Today I was adventurous and finally tried the chicken pho. I now wish I had done so sooner, so I could've had this a lot more often!

The broth was very very flavourful and the veg super crispy and freeeeesh ✨🍃 the chicken was tender and succulent, and utterly divine (not overdone, I will tell you if it's overdone because I am extra).

Also lemongrass iced tea. Perfect refresher for Cairns humidity and also utterly delicious!

🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤

The atmosphere of these markets is vibrant, community driven and run and with some really amazing food vendors and tropical produce. Went twice in the space of a week just for the food. Highlights were the Dosai with fresh coconut chutney from Cairns Thatukada, the Pho and the Thai food. Probably more but ran out of time and stomach!

A dirty market, as they should be. Well priced and many vendors. Some are still closed but due to open after the school holidays. Parking surrounding the market. Gets busy during peak periods. Worth a visit.

A local, tropical and permanent market. There's a wide range of items from meals, produce, baked goods, tourist gifts, belums, coffee and pastries.

It's under cover and really large. There's street parking but also a car park with 2 hours free parking.

We love the Thai salads, they are so tasty and are able to get amazing produce every week.

Cairns Biggest weekend Market. Opens on Fri, Sat and Sun. Lot of freah produces, home cooked meals, cafe, asian foods.

Parking is always difficult, similar price to supermarkets.

You would get a lot more veggies and green leaves here than supermarkets.

This place is a must see. The variety of fruits and vegetables is amazing and I am so jealous we don’t have something like this at home on Sunshine Coast. The authentic food on Offer is so delicious and so hard to decide what to have that you want to have a bit if everything. It’s the closet thing to a Bangkok market as you can get. Love these markets and always make a point of coming here every-time I visit. Highly recommended.

One of the must-visit markets if you visit Cairns! There’s a huge variety of fruits/vegetables/food and other items priced reasonably. There is parking in-front of the markets and on the surrounding streets although you have to pay a small fee (around $2 an hour if I remember correctly). Would be good to carry some cash as not every stall has card machines 😌

When in Cairns, you need to visit here on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. You'll find fresh vegetables and fruits, herbs and some. You can start with the Vietnamese coffee in front by Grafton St. And pair it with the Danish pastry/ies of your liking that you'll see in another store inside. There is cooked food you can also buy and seats if you feel like eating after browsing. Try the Paw Paw salad, thai spicy will hit the spot and down it with fresh coconut juice or fresh sugarcane drink, whichever you prefer. Come visit, you won't regret it.👍👍👍👍👍

Very nice Market. Lots of fresh produce.
But need to be there early it opens around 5am, if you plan to go there by mid-afternoon, I think by 4 every shop will be shut.

Great place for street food. Recommend the German Bratwurst Sausages and Wunderbar donuts. Best coffee from Barista Sista.

Popular market in Cairns. We visit the place multiple times every trip. It’s a lively place.
Tips:
The middle parking lane is free parking for 3h. The side curb parking lane are ticketed. There is a gated parking in the building free for 2h.
Some shops only do cash, make sure you have your change handy.

There are fresh fruits 🍎 , veggies🥦 , herbs 🌿, and more.
There are also hot food of various cuisine, coffee, and varieties of drinks.
Jewellery, bric-a-brac, massage, tools, etc
This place has it all 🛒

Awesome place to buy tasty fruits and veggies. Better than any grocery store. We almost always buy tumeric from this place. Good place when you want to cook your own food.
