The Pier, Cairns

We decided last minute to go up to the great barrier reif, and we received help from "Great Adventures" on some last-minute booking for a boat tour. We also got a bit to eat... that hit the spot, Chicken Curry Pie!

Lots to see and do. Great for all ages especially young families . Free entertainment park, playgrounds and lagoon for swimming. Carpark handy. Close to shops and eateries. Kept very clean and tidy.

Dining at Dundee's was absolutely perfect. The lovely menu catered for everyone. Amy was most helpful, polite and friendly. Will visit again when I next get to Cairns.

Pier was very nice, good tree lights, cool atmosphere, with a public fresh water swimming pool, merry-go-round and a good Esplanade sunset walk

I love it that Cairns has built this amazing promenade boardwalk, complete with a free pool for residents & visitors alike to enjoy.

The Cairns Marlin Marina is a paradise for boat lovers and the central point of departure for people wanting to visit Fitzroy and Green Islands as well as a range of water based activities.

Nicely landscaped area next to the jetty where you can relax before boarding a vessel or just having something to eat. There are benches to sit in some in the shade and some artwork to look at. Good place to chill.

Fun place to visit and walk

This is the hub for great barrier reef excursions. Very well run and efficient. There are a bunch of restaurants in the area and stores that sell towels,seas sickness pills etc. All of the tours are run out of the same building right in front of the pier

The Pier, a great location in Cairns. Sadly still suffering badly due to COVID and lack of cruise ships. Definitely worth a visit as the restaurants are all open, retail shops not so much but the one's open are worth the visit.

The starting point of a most memorable adventure! Clean and easy to get around.

Like the happy hour not many places you can get a vodka and red bull for $9 I think it was till 7pm and watch the sunset and the sea

Great atmosphere and good food too.

Had the barramundi with mash (around $39). Quite expensive but the flavours and fish quality were incredible.

Mushroom pasta didn't have many mushrooms in it which was a let down but the creamy sauce was delicious.

They do a really great steak (actually cooked how you order it).

Will be back 👍

Very busy pier you meet different people always busy lot's tourist visit here to catch boats to see the beautiful great barrier reef

Beautiful location under the Harbour Lights hotel, along the marina with lots of restaurants and bars where you can get breakfast, lunch and dinner, either seated inside or al fresco.

Good pub, friendly staff. Very good atmosphere

This is a lovely place to sit and look out to sea with a drink

The peir Cairns was great so many options for food ate at the steak house very good nice staff

Neat and clean,clearly you will get your direction, a large pier many boats can board passengers at a same time
