As soon as we arrived, the strong aroma of delicious food from their kitchen gave us reassurance of what’s to come. Marta, the waitress was friendly, kind and took time to explain their menu. We wanted to try both mushroom and prawn pizza and they were happy to cater for us and do a half and half pizza. Burnt butter pan seared gnocchi was fluffy and light yet with a bit of char, just yum!! We also had arancini, broccolini, a kid bolognaise and two cocktails. Strongly recommend this little Italian restaurant if you are travelling to Gold Coast.

The hidden gem of the Gold Coast! This incredible Italian restaurant has incredible food and great service. We had the grilled barramundi and rosemary focaccia.... Mouth watering, cooked to absolute perfection by a master chef. We're coming back!

This lovely restaurant doesn’t get the credit that it deserves.
Clean, warm, welcoming and modern.
We initially did not set high expectations (being in a shopping centre) but we were very pleasantly surprised.
Mussels and prawns were absolutely delicious. Pizzas were delicate and generous both in toppings and flavours.
I’ve loved details such as clean crockery and glassware, sturdy clean chairs, clean tables…
So cosy we forgot the miserable/cold weather outside.
Attention to detail and superb live music to top it off.
Service from Sydney was great too.
We will return and recommend for sure!

Rustica Italia is a restaurant amongst a few eateries outside the Treetops Shopping Plaza . We visited Sunday night 27/3 and it was very busy, which is always a good sign. The tables are spaced out pretty well, the waiter serving us was very friendly. The food we ordered was delicious having been to a few Italian restaurants I have actually been disappointed with the quality & taste of the food. Certainly not here. We ordered the Bruschetta, Wood-fired Focaccia which was full of flavour. For mains I ordered a Pasta dish you can choose which type of pasta I opted for Linguine with Chorizo & Prawn delicious. Good portions.We also ordered the wood fired pizza that too did not disappoint. I was keen to try the Banoffee Pizza for dessert but I had no room on this visit.
As our dining experience was so good , we will return with some friends as there are certainly some other dishes we would like to try The Risotto being one!

I ordered the seafood pasta (take away). I don't usually bother leaving reviews, but I loved this dish soooo much that I had to leave a 5 star review! Generous amount of fresh sea food and absolutely delicious sauce! Will definitely order again and soon!

Went for lunch earlier today and everything was absolutely beautiful. I got takeaway and even then the presentation was still excellent! Some of the freshest Sicilian Prawns I’ve ever had and the ribs were so soft and juicy they literally slid off the bone. Everything was better than my expectations. 10/10 will be visiting again to dine in and get the full experience!

Stopped in for lunch today and the pizzas were amazing! Picture doesn’t do it justice & the service was excellent. Very very friendly staff, can’t wait to come back soon!

Had a lovely meal at Rustica Italia it was absolutely delicious i had the steak with baked potatoes and mushroom gravy and brocollini. I didn't think I'd finish 200g of steak but I certainly did. Top points to the chef. Lovely waiter too a lovely Italian man.

Great service & food. We were a table of 6. It took 20mins from order to table and ALL meals were served at the same time.
Our unanimous vote was that pastas were better value than the pizzas.
We also appreciated that we didn't have to stand it a queue to order our food as there was table service.

The best Italian restaurant I have ever been to in my life, 10000% better than Italy. This place seriously doesn't get the credit it deserves. The pasta is absolutely incredible and extremely affordable, especially for the quality & execution. I have & will recommend it to everyone who has travelled to Queensland. You are seriously missing out.

Food & ambience was wonderful! My husband ordered pasta with linguine & got spaghetti! Not a prob but my only bug bear was sitting at our table with our finished plates for ever! Small complaint, I know BUT that’s me! Need more staff! They were run off their feet & were awesome & so happy! Lucky Employers! Just 1 or 2 staff would make a big difference on Saturday night! And u would have made more $$ out of us if u had more ice! 😀

For a Saturday night it was not crowded so had our choice of table. Food was spectacular we had the special duck gnocchi and seafood pasta. Wine was excellent and service could not fault. Used our 25% off entertainment voucher but overall price was fantastic for what we had. Would definitely recommend and will go back again.

I had a 5 course meal and I must admit - it was absolutely divine! For the first time I had not overcooked risotto and pasta in Australia :)beef cheeks melted in the mouth, and the flavours were very rich and authentic. I was a little disappointed with the choice of dessert - cheesecake is not exactly Italian, I was hoping for tiramisu as that's pretty much the only dessert I eat. It was delicious and well made but next time I hope they will go with something more Italian! I will definitely be back even though it's quite a drive for me as it's hard to find decent food on the Gold Coast.

Perfect birthday dinner with family. Waiter was awesome. Food was 5 star. Fresh perfectly cooked homemade pasta served piping hot and 7 people served all together. Flavours were spot on. Beautiful meal left us completely satisfied. Thanks guys you nailed it. We will be back!!

Hands down the best Italian on the gold coast. I got the carbonara and slow cook beef pasta and it was incredible. The beef pasta was my favourite and had a really good serving size of slow cooked beef that was so tender. Definitely recommend

The wife and I am originally from Melbourne, and have been to many of the Italian restaurants in Lygon Street over the years. The pizza we had as starters was maybe the best that I've ever had, and the remainder of our choices did not disappointment.
We were very impressed.

Let me start off by saying you can never truly judge a restaurant by the take away. I feel ittakes away from the experience and freshness but on that note the fact that the take away was first class was truly impressive.

Every meal was exceptional and the gluten free option for the pasta was incredible.

Will definitely be coming and dining in and hope nothing but success in the future which I have no doubt there will be plenty of.

This was an amazing Lunch on Mother’s Day !
This was our first Lunch outing as a family post Covid and when we arrived at Rustica without booking , Tasha the hostess found us a table for myself my wife and 3 daughters and were happily seated within minutes!

The restaurant was busy as expected,the food was amazing and the service was prompt and professional, as soon as Tasha greeted us on arrival we knew we had just found a great Italian restaurant, she is totally professional and exuded a beautiful warmth that made us feel right at home 😊
Jordano one of the waiters also very professional and singing whilst busily serving customers made you feel like you were dining in southern Italy , made the whole experience all the more enjoyable!

Tried this place for the first time today, and we were very impressed by the service, atmosphere and the food and drinks.
They have quite a big range of foods and drinks in their menu, and they also offer a good range of GF, vegetarian and healthy options.
For mains, we ordered the pear and rocket salad, beef cheek and wild mushroom pizza with extra chicken. The foods were amazing and they all had a great combination of tastes. The pizza bread and the pasta were freshly made and they were very tasty , fluffy and light.
We also ordered some mocktails and cocktails and all of them were quite special and unique.
Last but not least, the staff were so friendly and attentive.Well definitely come back for more amazing foods and drinks.
