Such a great experience here!

Cute little cafe and really welcoming and attentive staff. I had the fish and chips and everything was spectacular! Literally the best fish and chips I think I’ve ever had. Crispy chips but fluffy on the inside and the sauce was delicious. Fresh tasting fish and didn’t taste oily.

The passion fruit sponge was delicious too!

Definitely worth a visit

Had a lovely visit with a couple before they leave for Queensland next week for the winter. The only reason the atmosphere was 4 stars was because it was a bit chilly this morning and the door kept staying open. The place itself was lovely. Not too noisy, able to converse easily. Tables were not set in advance which is the biggest no no ever!Very clean. The service was good - still finding their feet a bit, but nothing to complain about. The food was great and served hot! Coffee was as expected from a cafe. Very friendly staff and atmosphere. We will return but soon will need to make a booking. Once people find this little gem, it's going to be hard to get a table! Prices are reasonable as well.

I had my birthday brunch at The Stables today and couldn't have asked for a better morning! Amazing food and the friendliest, most welcoming staff who sang Happy Birthday, presented me with cake and made me feel very special. Thank you ❤

Very friendly staff . My sister and step dad love the food there . Big potions. Chips are yummy. You can alter food order . Prices are medium range . Cozy place

The coffee was sublime, the raspberry and quandong friand was delicious and the staff handsome and friendly. This has recently undergone a renovation and it looks gorgeous.

Discovered this place today, can't fault it at all! Perfect service, perfect coffee and perfect food. We will definitely be back

Great people, tasty Eggs Benny and the coffee / cakes are awesome.

We just had the soup which was very nice and the blueberry cheesecake was to die for! The service was great and the chef even came and made sure we were happy. A great little cafe all round. We will be back to sample some of the other dishes on the menu being enjoyed by others around us today.

Ran in here last minute for a quick lunch! We felt what a find!
Staff are lovely and accommodating especially with our food allergies.
Fish n chips and prawn & scallop pie where delicious with an extra bowl of chippies!
Highly recommend! We wished we didn't live so far away. Definitely will visit when back in the area!

Love this place!!! They make the most amazing Buddha bowl vegan and it’s my fave lunch. They are wonderfully friendly, welcoming awesome humans all of them. Highly recommend!!

Great food ,I had mushroom risotto,I would definitely recommend. Quick service and the waiters are nice the chef checks in to see if you enjoy your meal. The onion rings are made from scratch. And you can take your food home if you can’t finish the generous serving

This cafe has great attention to detail. Every aspect is attended to a high standard. All staff are wonderful personable people and the food is prepared with love and an attention to detail. High recommendation.

This is my favourite Coffee place in Ballarat,food superb,coffee awesome and staff here are brilliant ( even got my dog a drink!).
Next door they also operate a great wine bar in the evenings.
