Pacific Pines Medical Centre

I have only had positive experiences at Pac Pines Medical centre. I feel upset to see poor reviews as I truly believe the staff are kind and genuine.

My children and I have never been made to feel anything other than welcome and appreciated by both our GP and practice staff. I always recommend this practice to my family and friends.

Do yourself a favour and see for yourself!

UPDATE: If you choose to sit on the chairs posted below, apparently you need to ask permission from reception. We checked in at reception, waiting room was full, therefore we decided to sit on the chairs outside Dr Nelson's room. However one of the lovely ladies on front desk, shouted out in front of the crowded waiting room "excuse me where are you going?" No need to shout, is there?? This medical practice gets 5 stars because of Dr Hugh Nelson, intelligent, genuine, compassionate Dr. He doesn't bustle you in & out within 6 minutes. His made an enormous difference in my daughter's life, she finally found a Dr who wants to help her change her life. This Dr has immense knowledge & experience with treating patients who suffer from addiction. Dr Hugh is not all talk, he gives you the tools to help yourself & has a network of supportive psychologists. Now we have found it a bit hit & miss with the reception ladies, a couple of them need a lesson on dealing with patients with mental health issues. Especially the young lady on reception with the tattoos, you r just nasty.

Dr. Punnet Pannu is a professional doctor and has handled our family’s health concerns very effectively . He is very knowledgeable doctor. I would definitely recommend friends and family to this clinic. Dr. Punnet Pannu thank you very much for looking after us when we needed.

I don’t know how anyone could give this place anything less than 5 stars. I’ve found all receptionists/nurses/drs nothing but amazing.

It’s not very often you go to a drs nowadays and they take the time with you and actually find what is wrong!

Me and my kids go there. I think they are amazing!

Reception staff are always lovely.
Dr. Parsons is a great doctor. He takes time to explain things in depth. Also always asks how I’m doing personally and genuinely cares!

Beautiful reception staff, nurses and doctors - especially Dr Mandeep Ranhotra. Very caring and takes her time, never rushes you out. I travel just to come to this practice as no where else compares to the treatment I receive here. Highly recommend!!! 😊

The staff here always go above and beyond to help me and my family. I've been coming here for 10 years and only have positive things to say.

Ive been going to this medical centre for years, and I have to say, they are wonderful. Dr Yaxley has taken great care of myself and my family. When we have been unable to see him, the replacement Drs have all been excellent. The receptionists do their very best to accomodate even when no appointments are available. The nurses are lovely too.
Overall I would not go anywhere else and would recommend this medical centre to anyone.

Have been going here for a very long time now, even before the move to current location. I don't know what people mean when they say the receptionists are rude; they are very polite and always acknowledge me when I enter the practice. Doctors are very nice too, I love coming here when I need to.

Everytime when I have booked an appointment and arrived on time only takes a few minutes to wait for a call. I had been there many times and my bubs had their vaccines there everytime. The nurse all very kind and friendly. The doctor I've seen is very good as usual. And the receptionist ladies were helpful and patient.

The best doctor & practice I have ever been to. My GP, Dr Yaxley, has gone above & beyond his duty of care to obtain diagnosis of two chronic conditions. Always treated with respect even when doctors & reception staff are overwhelmed helping other patients. All the doctors have their particular strengths & individual diagnostic capabilities. ALL of the reception staff go above & beyond to assist patients & are always professional & polite. Always recommend this practice & will always attend this practice for it's professionalism, patient care & above all, their compassion for ALL patients, especially those with complex, chronic conditions. To the person who singled out one of the reception staff for criticism, how others treat us is a reflection of how we treat them. Perhaps go to another practice & allow this receptionist to make time with any one of these fantastic doctors for another more deserving patient.

As im reading reviews I am stumped to read that reception are rude! All the ladies there on front desk are lovely! When I ring up I usually greet with a warm joyful "hello Val how are you going today" and they know it's me. Julie, Nikki and the other ladies are also very warm and kind.
I have been going to this practice since I was 21, 14 years. Never have I encountered rudeness from the ladies on reception.
I see Dr Hong for all our family members and would rarely go elsewhere. And I've moved away from the suburb too.
People need to remember they are a busy practise and they can't have-a-chat with you because of the amount of calls and work they need to do so lighten up Karens.

We have been going to this practice for the last 20 years.even though we don't live in Pac Pines anymore we wouldn't go anywhere else.

We moved to the Gold Coast 12 months ago so I have been looking for a family GP. Dr Peter Yaxley is the 5th doctor I visited and I am finally relieved to share I found our Family Practitioner !
The receptionist was very warm and friendly upon arrival and despite a full waiting room, the waiting time was short. Dr Yaxley was welcoming and kind to me and my children, but most of all he LISTENED with a non-judgemental attitude and was very accommodating.
Not only will I be back when needed but I won't hesitate to recommend him too.

I really appreciate all the help I got and I'm glad that I chose THIS medical centre in Pacific Pines. Everyone was very kind, quick and accommodating. I got my lab referral, needed shots and paperwork in two days.

Updating my review to negate the negative comments with regards to their reception staff, over call & in person, they have only been good, understanding and efficient.

Good staff and the doctors that I have seen are good and iv been coming here for years, for a busy little doctors the ladies at the counter manage times and people very well. And yes some times you have to wait a little longer but it just shows the doctors are taken time to explain things. Overall it's a good doctors and me and my daughter will continue to come here. And to all the haters no one or no place is perfect!!

The receptionist are amazing and always helpful my family see Dr.Yaxley and we couldnt be happier, we have also seen some other docters and they have also been great. They always go above and beyond and they do there best to work around times! Love Deb she is a babe! Wouldn't change GP's again.
