Recycling is easy. The facility is always kept clean.

The guys at the Scout Reclaim Centre are very helpful and really assist to give a good service. It's well worth the effort to sort material in advance. Good work, thanks.

Great place to drop off rubbish, recycling, green waste and eWaste!

Prices are very reasonable and on par with most other places.

Staff are friendly and helpful.

Great to have it open on weekends (both Saturday AND Sunday) as well.

Just got to the 3 stars by a bees di*k as I'd phoned today (10/3/20) to queery a fee to dump some green waste. The price was good but the bloke I spoke to kept questioning me about whether there were weeds, roses and other non green waste in the load. I think I answered his question the first time but then he asked me another two times about what was in my green waste. So, the same answer was given.
Just a little strange that I got the 3rd degree but will still use the transfer station by the end of this week.
It'll be interesting to see whether I get questioned again. 🥺

Wanted to drop off approx half a ton of dirt (clean fill) but the bloke tells me it's going to cost me $100 !! For that small amount of clean fill are you kidding me !!
So I done U bolt and got outa there
Took it to another waste station where it cost me only $30 to offload.

Please teach the young lady up front some customer service. I've been there a few times and every encounter with her has left me feeling like I'm some sort of criminal or something. The other bloke up front is top tier and I only hope it is him when I am planning a dump run. She needs to have some time with him to learn how to talk to customers.
