I stayed in this wonderful hotel back in Oct 2023 (finally made the time to write this!). Everything about this hotel made an enjoyable stay. The rooms were simple, clean and comfy. Service was fantastic. Jimmy was an absolute legend and very helpful. The hotel is pretty central, an easy stroll to many great spots in Hobart. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks Jimmy and team!

the bar area is the cosiest place i have ever stepped foot in. tipped off by a tassie expat that this was THE location to get coffee and curl up with a book at, i was delighted to shelter in the beautifully decorated lounge and enjoy a peaceful coffee. imagine the lounge room of the coolest friend you know - that’s the vibe. exquisite!!!!!

The first thing me and my aunt noticed arriving at this hotel, was how fun the atmosphere was and how friendly and welcoming the staff were. Especially Gabby, she welcomed us a gave us great tips about what to do in Hobart as well as making delicious ice chocolate and coffee. When we arrived in our room there were delicious lint chocolates waiting to be eaten. The only thing I think could be improved was that the fridge was kinda noisy and the lights flickered a lot. The balcony is very nice to sit and have a cool evening drinking mango moctails. On the last day there were two big adorable dogs that loved attention and pats 😍🐕🐕. This hotel is an amazing place to stay for a holiday in Hobart!!!!! 😀🥳🤩😍😜🤣😺👍🌺🌸🌼🌈✨🫧Also there is a bubble tea 🧋 place next door!!!!!

I had a nice private room on the upper level. It had a large bed and a minifridge. Carpeted. A built-in-wardrobe and shelves. A couple small side tables and a half-length mirror. A nice large window over the head of the bed, and it opens.

The hotel location great! It is right in the CBD, close to the pier, markets, shops, restaurants, tourism centre, and SkyBus stops.

You do have to go up stairs, so not recommended for those with mobility restrictions or too much luggage that they can't manage.

The bathrooms are shared. Each floor has its own separate womens and mens. The womens bathroom had 1 toilet and 2 showers each. I had to wait for a toilet only once (and not long). Never had to wait for a shower. Almost never saw another person in the toilets when I was there.

There are water glasses and jugs you can borrow for your room, and additional water available in the hallways.

The lounge area and front desk hours are not 24h. Plan accordingly and communicate well!! The front desk staff are really kind and helpful.

The hotel felt quite secure, despite being in the heart of the CBD. Outside of front desk hours, the front door is code access only.

I appreciated the luggage storage option, between checking out and heading to the airport.

The lounge area was nice, had a good vibe, and funky decor/furniture. There's an outdoor balcony that's smoking-friendly too. You can BYO food but not alcohol to the lounge area. They do have coffee and bar service in the lounge area.

Laundry:
Wash about 1h, and dryer up to 2.5h, and have to be done during front desk hours. I think it was $5/load.

The WiFi worked fine for me. I was just checking emails, tourist planning, scrolling social media etc. I did not try to stream any high bandwidth videos (e.g. movies or TV)

No air conditioning, but yes heating - a small independent one in the room that works for 1h at a time. I didn't need it though (early April). There was also a nice heavy blanket.

I like that there aren't too many rooms in this hotel. I had a relatively quiet stay here.

I stayed here for 7 nights. Super affordable when you factor all aspects and other hotels in the area. I would recommend and stay here again.

Such a gem of a place in Hobart. Beautiful decor and building, lounge , sparkling clean and the people who run it are crazily nice and helpful. Amazing value for money. It always seems peaceful even when full, no competing for bathrooms .

Such a lovely hotel, really nice rooms, quirky decorations, super friendly staff, spotless bathrooms, and a very handy location. The cafe bar is like a cosy living room, perfect for chilling out. Would stay again here in a heartbeat.

My partner and I loved our stay at this adorable hotel! The place is very charismatic with a lovely couch area to enjoy coffee or cocktails. The staff are super friendly and welcoming. Location is perfect so you can easily get around the city on foot. The cute dogs greeting us as we arrived was an added bonus as well :)

I had a pleasant stay here. The room is clean and warm. The shared bathroom is clean. Jimmy is lovely. I would stay here again if I have the chance to visit Hobart.

Only con to me is that you can hear the noise from outside your room easily.

Kudos to Emma and Jimmy for accomodating me because of the hectic schedule I had. I missed to inform them about my schedule but thankfully I emailed and Emma responded back, I was completely panicked because of my carelessness for the first time.

Next day Jimmy helped me with breakfast/brunch suggestions and some places to explore in Hobart. But, the highlightd for me were Mona and Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary, I managed/squeezed both the spots and loved it.

The hotel is in downtown/city and many nearby attractions available. Read some reviews where some people expressed their opinions about noise and shared bathroom problems. I did NOT experience any of it. It was clean and neat, so place for complaints.

I am definitely staying here next time.

I have nothing but good things to say about this funky, adorable and welcoming hotel.
First of all, the staff are amazing, friendly, kind and are there and ready to help you, you feel like you're being welcomed in by an old friend. The lounge area and balcony are perfect little spots to sit and chill out, the decor is retro/funky bright and colourful and there are so many beautiful plants, colours and cool items to look at. We stayed in a 2 bed room with a shared bathroom, everything is very clean and well maintained. It is in the city centre so everything is within a ten minute walk. I decided to stay an extra night before heading off to my next destination because I loved the place so so much. This will be my go to when staying in Hobart from now on, can't wait to be back :)

Satisfactory stay during 16-21/3.

Got early check-in when I arrived earlier than the expectation time. I booked a twin bedroom which was larger than the queen one. Room was acceptable in this price, it was clean. Although I did not expect a shared bathroom, the bathroom was really clean, bright and proper that I did not felt uncomfortable. There was 1 toilet and 2 showers in the bathroom and luckily I did not have to wait for sb or sb have to wait for me while I was using the facilities.

Staffs were friendly, thank you for the service during my stay.

I must say that at first the shared bathroom did not please me at all, however I was lucky not to share it simultaneously with anyone, apart from this, an excellent location, very comfortable rooms, excellent staff, congratulations to all the guys, very friendly and attentive.

Great atmosphere
Good cocktails
And an adorable doggy
100% recommendable

I didn't stay at the hotel but dropped in for drinks 4 times on a recent trip to Hobart. Super friendly staff, really cool vibe, good selection of beer in bottles and cans and nice balcony with the most awesome heated tables.
