Taverna Stolis

A bit outside the tourist area in a charming romantic patio. We went there to get some seafood and had lots of things, including mashed potatoes with garlic, tsatziki, mixed seafood, salad and sardines. Everything was delicious and the prices were quite fair. Update: we came back for our last night in Himare and ate some other stuff which was also amazing. Full recommend!

This taverna is truly amazing. It offers shade during the day and lovely ambiance on the evening. The food is a must try. I have literally visited the place several times trying almost everything on the menu, and they all taste unbelievably good. The cherry on top are the mother and son who serve the food and they are so welcoming and positive that will make you never forget you lunch/dinner there. A rare 10/10.

Great hidden restaurant, the best when it comes to value/quality we tried in Himare. Accepting card payments!!! Nice portions, super fresh fish, very fair prices and lovely service. The atmosphere is also very lovely.

We had a very nice dinner at Taverna Stolis. Quietly located patio with olive trees and relaxed atmosphere. We stayed in Himare for some days and went to several restaurants, but this was one of the best overall experiences.

Very good food and service is superb. Helpful and working really fast. Compèring to other restaurants in neighbouring this one is definitely the most lovely one. Prices are also reasonable. You can pay by credit card which not common

Amazing find in Himara. We loved the classy atmosphere and the way they integrated trees in their restaurant. We went for their seafood specialties, Octopus, Calamari and fish. The owner even helped us order gluten free items on the menu since we have intolerances.

My Italian friend raves about this place. We visited in the Himare off-season when the beach town goes quiet. Me and three friends were the only patrons, save for the family who runs the restaurant and their sweet cats. The family played chess and tended the wood-stove. The warm feeling like being inside the home of loved ones. We ordered lots of wine, salad, soft cheese, and seafood. I had the grilled shrimp which were big, juicy, meaty, and sweet. I will certainly go back and hope to stay in the guest house as well.

Amazing food and ambiance. We came early evening and absolutely loved it. Moussaka was my favourite, and the best Greek salad I’ve had in a while!

Great taverna! We had dinner for two, great service and very tasty food. We didn’t have to wait, as the food just kept coming. 10/10

Really good food and views of the sea. When here always ask the servers what's fresh and local. I would not order anything else. We ordered the tuna and cod which were really good. The second day that we visited we ordered the days special, Dragon fish which was really delicious. Highly recommended!!!! A++

lovey lady greeted us, we ate between the olive trees. got the moussaka, fries and house salad, couldn’t fault the food at all, was very tasty. food was very reasonably priced. would go back again!

Best Greek food you will find in town. Fresh super tasty fish and food. Very kind staff. The cook even took me into the kitchen to show me how fresh the fish was!
Price is more than good. Top recommendation of you are in the area.

On our first night in Himare, we found this charming family-owned Greek taverna, spoilt with sunset views over the Ionian Sea.

A very warm and friendly vibe, the food was delicious, authentic greek comfort food complimented with great house wine. Incredible value too.

The views were breathtaking watching the sunset, a perfect introduction to the most beautiful village on the Albanian riviera.

One of the best places to eat in Himara. Besides the fish, also reccomend trying out the meat. Very well cooked and always tender. Also don't leave without trying the Himara salad. Thank me later

Delicious and intimate dinner spot in Himarë ! We tried a range of dishes and they were all delicious. Service and atmosphere were both lovely, and everything was extremely reasonably priced. Only regret was waiting until our last day to try this place!

Amazing calamari and octopus, outstanding fast service, reasonable prices, beautiful view with constant breeze and friendly staff. Lovely!

Delicious local food, best meal we had in Himare during our 3 days stay. Mousaka is a must try dish, all the entrées were superb. Cat lovers will be most pleased with the local gang of kitties who patrol the dining area. Best meal on our holiday in Albania.

Had the most amazing fish meal! Such fresh fish, caught from the ocean that day. Amazing wine selection to go with the sea food too.

First of all I must point out the hospitality of the young waiter who served us. The food is perfectly prepared, fresh and tasty. The ambience is great. A must visit recommendation of this tavern, the service, food and price are excellent.

The best place to eat in Himarë. Always open and always a good option for a snack or a meal. The white house wine is very good!
