Camping Kranea

A great and cosy camping place with a very nice and friendly owner. WC/Shower (unisex) are nice and clean. The food and drinks in the restaurant are delicious! The campings slots are big enough, the beach is free and just in front of the camping. Supermarkets are close by, the only bakery was at the entry of the beach (10 mins walk probably). Although the whole area is still being built (surely the promenade will be nicer, and probably there will be more hotels), meaning the road and some areas looked slightly either abandoned or under construction, it was our favourite spot for staying on the beach and swimming in Albania. With a 45-50 minutes hike you can also reach Himare, which was also really nice and enjoyable. Would definitely recommend!

I had dinner here on two separate occasions. Dennis is an amazing person. He also speaks many languages. He’s so sweet and accommodating. The food was also delicious and cheaper than the other places around. I had a Greek salad and the sea bream both times. I especially loved the U.S. 80s music! They’re open late and the bar is also awesome. Their bathroom facilities are some of the cleanest I’ve ever used and I’m a neat freak. One of my favorite restaurants in Livadhi!

Great site on the beach - we pitched up in 2 large Motorhomes & got in easily - spaces are adequate & it is very private - great facilities with washing machines & lovely little bar/restaurant on site - nice owners - area is clearly under major development with 2 fabulous boutique hotels here 🙌

We came here in October, basically everything was dead except this place! Great value for money, excellent showers, clean toilets, good restaurant and friendly owners. Would highly recommend, we enjoyed ourselves even with a few rainy days. And on the sunny days we had the beach almost to ourselves! Wouldn't know what its like here in high season, but I definitely recommend this place when you're traveling in low season.

Really beautiful and clean place in a wonderful location.There is plenty of shadow for every camper.Also the staff is very friendly and helpful.Additional the prices are pretty reasonable.

Not only the best camp in Albania, but definitely on the best we have been in general.Very professionally run place, facilities being cleaned several times a day. Almost all parking spaces are shaded by olive trees, so even though the camp is fairly small you have decent level of privacy. The owner made us very welcome and he is really trying to help if you have any issues. The beach is about 50m away. There is also a small onsite restaurant. Full recommendation.

In my personal experience its the best place to spend vacations in himara. The beach is very beautiful with comfortable sunbeds spaceous and also very quiet. The food is very good with reasonable prices. It has clean bathrooms and the staff is extremely friendly. We come every year and we have also tried the camping side which was a rather pleasant experience.

Among the best camping sites on the Albanian Riviera! Very neat, clean, cozy and well organized. Owner couple very helpful and cordial. Sanitaries clean, well equipped (washing machines) and always enough for everybody. As far as the restaurant - look no further! The best one in the area is at the camping site! Hoping to return there someday!

After reading the reviews I decided to try the restaurant here. I was REALLY impressed by the level of service! I ordered a spaghetti bolognese and it was tasty. I'd really like to come back as a camper to be able to give a more complete review of the venue. Hoping to be back in the summer for this reason!

Small and Beautiful campesite!! The owner and his staff are super friendly and service orientated. The bathroom is always super clean and the food in the small restaurant is deliciouse. We stayed here 3 nights although our plan was to just have one night sleepover...

I had some nice moments here and relaxation as rarely where. E.g. the evening concert of the string orchestra on the hotel terrace right next to the camp I listened comfortably to a recliner on an armchair under an awning and olive trees. Perfect acoustics complemented by the sound of waves and Mediterranean crickets ...
My idea was to never go to the same camp multiple times because there are so many beautiful places to visit. I have returned to Kranea 4 times, and I hope many more times in the future. People, location, nature, kindness, food, prices ... everything is as it should be.
To be clear, I toured the entire Mediterranean coast from Greek to French, including some elite and multiple expensive camps. I feel more comfortable here than elsewhere.

Very nice place. Familly atmosphere. Very clean bathrooms. Quiet at night. 20 m to beautiful sea with private sunbed. Extremely friendly owners. Good wi-fi. Restaurant open from 8. Great familly time. We definately rekomend this place.

We've been on this campsite in September 2015 and found it not only lovely but also well organised, combined with a nice restaurant area. The management is absolutely helpful and friendly and offer reasonable tariffs.

Very nice place, with hospitality owners. The places for campers are good arenged. The prices are good. Clean and nice bathrooms with hot water all the time. Good wi-fi. Clean and beautiful beach.

Got a place for a tent for one night almost by accident as everything was full. Great place with friendly staff, very nice atmosphere, and many nice campers.

spent a couple of days here... this is the beach right in front of the camp... a gem for sure
