ARXONTIKO Hotel and Restaurant

This hotel is run by a lovely family. It is clean, cute and gorgeous. The furnishings and everything about it are so well done. We stayed in the double room with a sea view which we enjoyed from our balcony when it wasn’t too hot. The room was an okay size but we would have preferred the triple room which is much bigger. It is on a rise and has an exquisite view of the sea. It is a short walk down to the beach and main promenade. Breakfast is included and is a feast of fresh food beautifully prepared by the owners. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner. Beach towels are supplied and we were offered a beach umbrella.

The restaurant has a delightful family-friendly atmosphere, coupled with a lovely ambiance. This restaurant is a welcoming spot. The food is excellent, offering a satisfying experience for all ages.

Arxontiko is a great place to stay. The view of our room was breathtaking and the balcony had a great people watching vibe. The room was immaculate and the service top notch. This family run business aims to please, and you definitely get your money’s worth. The breakfast are copious, and a great start to your day. Friendly, smiling service throughout. I will (and already have) recommend Arxontiko to anyone I know who is visiting Albania. The location is amazing - right on the coast with incredible views, the restaurant is one of the best in town, the rooms are very clean, and the overall hospitality we experienced from Andreas and his family was incredible. We even brought back a fresh fish one night from our boat tour and they cooked it up into a feast. 10/10.

The restaurant is amazing one of the best experiences we've had as a family.The atmosphere is phenomenal . It's very clean and the food is otherworldly, the seafood is very tasty the pasta is also delicious. The meat is fresh from the mountains nearby It melts in ur mouth. The view is so beautiful the view of the adriatic sea is gorgeous. Highly recommend!

Very good hotel, the owners and their son are very caring and always here to help. You can tell that they are doing this for the right reasons. The breakfast included was amazing and still warm when served to us. Our room was very nice, beds are very comfortable, quiet and the a/c is very much appreciated during the night. The view from our bedroom was fabulous.

Our experience overall was excellent, and if we come back to Himare one day, we will definitely come back to this hotel.

It was a true pleasure discovering this family-run restaurant in the heart of Himare. The food was amazing and at a fair price but what really made it for us was the kindness and hospitality of the owners. True example of Albania’s hospitality!

The chefs pasta is the best dish we’ve had in Albania so far - absolutely delicious. The service here is fantastic too, the owner and family cannot do enough to make sure your visit is wonderful. Thank you so much ☺☺☺

We stayed for 4 nights and they are the best hospitable people I’ve ever seen. Owner and his family was so nice and kind. They were always trying to be sure everything is alright. They offer handy parking spot and delicious breakfast. View of rooms are incredible beautiful they gave us bigger room with same price even though we booked normal room.

Great restaurant right across the street from the beach. Grilled octopus was delicious. Served with zucchini balls, which were delightful addition and very tasty! House white wine was also unexpectedly good. Very good service and decor. Parking is a slight issue…on street parking. The owner graciously gave up his parking spot for us! Highly recommend.

Very goos food. A bit pricy but you pay for what you get. Nice service. Only downside is that there is a road right next to where you sit.

Our entire stay was amazing, Andreas, the owner, and his family went above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. the room was great, the most modern and well equipped one we stayed in during our entire two weeks in Alabania and always spotless.
Furthermore, breakfast as well as lunch and dinner in the restaurant were of great quality and the traditional, local dishes were exceptionally good.
on top of that we got great tips for day trips, beaches in the vicinity as well as a boat tour of the surrounding bays and maritime caves that was arranged for us.
we thoroughly enjoyed our time there and will love to return to this great hotel and host!

We stayed here for 3 nights and it was great! The hotel is nicely design, we had a balcony with gorgeous sea view and a delicious breakfast was included every morning! The owner was really nice and accommodating, always making sure we were getting the best service and checking we were happy. This is an amazing place to stay!

As we were walking down the street, the owner did his best to interest us and made some suggestions about dishes of the day. Next day we came here for dinner and weren't disappointed at all!

We ordered a seafood risotto and a mixed seafood plate for two. The seafood was very fresh and tastier than anything before. Risotto was a hearty portion and very tasty. The white house wine was excellent.

The catering is done by the owner and his family and the restaurant makes a very good impression. Given the prices on dishes, this is an absolute must-visit!

We just have been twice to the restaurant. Best food in town - just awesome- great place for fresh and tasty seafood and super friendly stuff. We enjoyed every time being here and definitely will come back!

Excellent restaurant!!! Food is very delicious, very fresh and not so pricey. Fresh salad and amazing shrimps. Best Tiramisu ever! I have nothing other to say than if you are visiting Himare you have to eat the best mussels and shrimps .

Gorgeous sea front view, the rooms have everything you need and the service is exemplary. The family who own it go to every effort to make sure you have everything you could to have a nice holiday. The food is also exquisid, whether having breakfast included or a meal in the evening, you will absolutely love it.
