Camping HIMARA

Lovely atmosphere here, 5 minute walk down to the beach for a swim where there are also restaurants for dinner.

Very very helpful couple volunteering working there when we visited, they gave us a really warm welcome and loads of tips on our travel plans while in Albania.

Hot showers, toilets, dishwashing, laundry all available.

On site bar which is a lovely place to sit in the evening and chat, lovely communal atmosphere but also no pressure to get involved if you just want to sit with your partner and chat/play cards/drink.

Dennis the donkey is around and is a character! Very friendly and very interested in our breakfast! 😆

We stayed here for 2 nights and would love to have stayed for longer if we had the time. We paid €16/night which felt reasonable. We would stay here again if we had the chance 🙂

This camping was our best camp experience in Albanië. The people were so sweet and made us feel like we were home. The location is amazing and the sanitair is very clean. We had a very nice stay here and we will definitely come back to this place.

Spent the most quiet night in this lovely camping. Right outside of the hectic city of Himare. Half an hour walking from the beautiful Akuarium beach. Toilets and showers are super clean. Staff is friendly and there’s a sweet donkey in the yard. Highly recommended

Wonderful and calm place not far from the beach, nice terraced terrain with plenty of space, lower spots are even equipped with electricity, from the bar you can see the sea and Korfu. Clean sanitary with warm shower Dennis and Steven are wonderful hosts, Dennis and his mother serve a very tasty and local dinner - opt in for this!

Beautiful camp! We stayed here for two nights with our dog. The place is spacious, you can choose where to put your tent, or you can book a tent they already have. There is a shared bathroom and shower, even a washing machine if you need one, a nice bar with an amazing view of the sea, wifi and very friendly staff. The owner and his mom cook dinner if you want and the food is very delicious. The beach is close, it’s a bit crowded, you can go by car and pay for parking or walk approx 10mins. We definitely recommend this place and will come back again! 😍

We had a lovely stay of three nights at this campsite. Its situated at a olive tree orchard and has therefore also a lot of shade. The owner, Dennis, is the nicest and very helpfull. When we where there they were working to finish the campsite and the bar where you have a beautiful view of the sea. The facilities are also more than fine. Would love coming back.

This camp is just wonderful! Dennis and Erwin are great and super friendly guys who created a lovely, clean and remote campsite just 5 minutes away from the big beach. If you are here, you need to try the home-made Albanian food and i promise that you won't be disappointed.
We will definitely come back again.

Perfect place for camping. Many olive trees, very quiet. Only 10 minutes walking to the beach. Also nice sea view from the bar. The boss is also a great chef - dinner was perfect!

We really recommend this place! The owner is so nice and friendly! You can have a beer and a chat (and also dinner) at his lovely bar. You can see in the details that he put a lot of work and love in this place! It's a 10 minute walk to the big beach (more touristic). There are also more beautiful and tiny beaches nearby where you have a more private nature experience (only a 20 minute walk). We highly recommend!

If you like a quiet place,full of nature, with a Marvelous Sea at 5 minutes of Walk, all the services you need, Great Food with local fresh Ingredients, and real Humanity, this is the Place.

We spent a week this summer with Denis in his wonderful camping. We had a wonderful time. He is a very welcoming person, a very good cook and has a wonderful knowledge of all the best beaches/places around. This camping has a wonderful view and his very natural + great location and close to the beach. I recommend it without an hesitation !

Great location to Livadh Beach and a few minutes drive from Himarë center. We stayed here two nights and there weren’t many people there and had our pick of spots to pitch our tent.
Dennis is a really nice guy, very helpful, great host, and kind. The views from up top where the administration office/bar is located are really nice, and it’s a good spot to wind down from the day or get there in the morning and enjoy your breakfast with a view of the ocean. The facilities are clean and the rates are more than reasonable. It’s worth it alone for the close walk to Akvarium Beach! Definitely recommend.

A very quiet en nice spot between the olive trees for a fair price. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The bar (with also will serve food) will open soon. Our old van had no problem with the stone road.

A wonderful, quiet and relaxing campsite full of olive trees. Plus a nice bar where you can also eat simple vegetarian and fish dishes. Very nice and helpful owner. Highly recommend for everyone who is looking for a tranqile place.

I loved the camping because it has a perfect location: it's close enough both to the old and new Himara but also still in nature, which is very rare on this over-constructed coast. The view on the bay AND Corfu is amazing and everything is arranged so you can fully enjoy it at the bar. Toilets were clean and food was good. The owner is a friendly guy open for recommendations. I definitely recommend this place.

Perfect camping! Warm shower, laundry service, bar and restaurant, wifi everywhere in the camping, charging stations, super friendly staff, convenient price.

This is one of the places I wish I could've stayed for MUCH longer. My girlfriend and I brought our own tent, but decided to use one of theirs after a couple of days as the tents they already have pitched ready are very comfortable with good airflow, mosquito nets and even mattresses. We stayed for four days and hanging out with Ervin and Dennis was so much fun! Dennis took us on day trips to really nice spots you won't find on the internet or in travel books.
And holy dang, the food here is the best we ate in all of Albania, no doubt! The chef makes fantastic foods like soups, pizza, pita with toppings etc. He even made us a fantastic seafood pasta on request, even though it was not on their menu.
The shared showers have hot water, and the toilets work nicely.
Can't wait to go back!

Friendly people, chill place, toilets/showers are basic but clean,.. nice bar and the food is great. The best food we had in Albania!!

Really great camping experience. The owner is a great friendly guy and speaks English well. He made us delicious breakfast in the morning.
