Cat Co 1 Beach

I really liked this beach, even though we just passed by to get to the Rocky path that brings you to beach 3. The beach is relatively small but I really enjoyed the big resort facing the beach and how it was camouflaging with the background with all the plants on its balconies.

It looks like a great place during the low season when we visited but I can imagine becoming very crowded very quickly during the high season. Next to it there is also a water park with a couple of water slides!

Very nice relaxing beach. It was not busy in early October. We rented a set of 4 chairs for 200k Dong. The beers are 30k and they also have smoothies and small snacks.

Cat ba beach 1 was our favourite of them all. We paid 200,000 for a couple of padded recliners for the day with a large umbrella. Showers and bathroom. Nice music not too loud and a bar. The beach sand is nice, and the water doesn’t drop off fast like #3 beach does. Clean water compared to #3 beach also.

A clean beach with great views

About 3/4th mile from the city centre, the beach at one of the ends of the main road is the a cool spot to relax. It is right next to a resort and not too long, and isn't easily noticeable given that there are many cars and taxis parked right in front of the small entry gate.

The views of the rock formations on both right and left are amazing, and there is a small trail which goes through the rocks at the extreme right of the beach. When I went here in the evening, there were hardly anyone, and I could feel in the fresh breeze and sound of the waters

Personally I would say that this is the nicest beach in CatBa (out of the 3). Midweeks it’s not too crowded and the scenery is beautiful. For the sunset you can walk over the stones to Beach 3. There you can get a pretty nice view 👍🏻

Easy to access. Beautiful beach. Has lockers for your bags. You can also rent canoes to take for a cruise.

Currently under future Flamingo Hotel construction and not recommend to stay. However, there is a trail link to Cat Co 3 beach and the scene is very beautiful. You can swim at Cat co 3 beach.

Super nice, clean, quiet and empty beach. Perfect for swimming and relaxing.
If you ask nicely you can use the toilet and outdoor shower of the hotel.

Probably the best beach in cat ba. Not too crowded when we went there. You can get here by walk from the city ( 20-25mins), or get the electrical car for few dong.

Very nice, clean and quiet beach.

I was there on Full Moon night and it felt awesome. The place is quiet peaceful and there is this bar on the beach where you can grab a chilled beer and relax.

Very little beach, but really nice, soft a white sand, maybe reduced from the new hotel on building.

Good place to swim, to spend time with family, children can playin the beach.
