Delicious food, great local flavours, and really reasonable prices! Tess has the fried spring rolls and the beef noodles which were both yum! I had the banana flower salad which was spectacular with fresh herbs and a citrus dressing.

Great food, we went to eat there twice during our stay in Cat Ba. The portions are very big and the prices are less expensive than other restaurants that were not as good.

It's the best food I've had in Vietnam. The fried rice, Pad Thai, Pho, Curry and Spring rolls are delicious. It has plenty of vegetarian options. The price is really good and the chef is really nice.

Amazing place with very good food for a very budget price (40k Pha, 60k fried rice/nudles, 90k for shels). We went here almost every day of our visit in Cat ba and would defentily do it again, if we come back.

Really mouthwatering noodle dishes. We came here twice. Service was friendly, fast and not pushy. The food is definitely worth the price.

More than delicious and plentiful dishes. Fortunately it is not a place overcrowded with tourists and perhaps less famous than others but just as good if not better.
I went back there for three consecutive days.

You have to give this spot a try!! What a hidden gem… we went here two nights in a row during our 3 night 4 day stay in Cat Ba. The food is delicious and very reasonably priced. It’s probably not as packed because it’s not on a very busy street and unassuming.

The first night I had the pho ga (chicken soup noodles) and my husband got the noodles with pork, we shared the pork nem and all we soo good.

Second night we decided to have a feast since it was our last night. We shared grilled oysters, clams with lemongrass, papaya salad, fried rice and the water spinach. Everything was amazingly fresh and tasty, great portion sizes too!

Lastly I think the owner is typically a one man show, he takes your order and makes the food but it never takes long - another reason to support his small business!

This place deserves a maximum rating. We had egg-fried-rice with squid and shrimps in coconut sauce: it was very delicious.

Totally recommend and would come back again soon!

Amazing food and such a cheap price! Manager always smiling and very friendly. I live on Cat Ba and eat here at least twice a week. Never very busy i wish more people came! Favourite dishes are the curry, papaya salad and the clams.

What a great real Vietnamese place! Every dish was delicious. Staff if very friendly even though they don’t speak English. But don’t worry, menu is bilingual. Prices are also good! Please don’t change. Thank you!

Really tasty food and polite staff. We had bun bo, pho bo, fried nem with meat, bananna flower salad amd seafood pad thai. All the dishes were very tasty. Good place to visit in Cat Ba!

Excellent Vietnamese food, served by a super friendly lady who speaks no English. I was happy to use Google Translate to communicate with her.

I order 3 dishes. Seafood fried rice, Pat thai and shrimp spring rolls. All dishes are very good. I want to try other foods again.

If you do not be afraid that the stuff speaks little English you will eat very good food here.the menu ist translated on english.in 7 weeks Vietnam this was best seafood we ate, we came Here two days in a row so that we could try more dishes. =)
And the stuff was very very friendly.

Came here for dinner with my friend and came back next day!! It was delicious!!! We tried the spring rolls fresh and fried, pad Thai, sweet and sour chicken and honey garlic chicken!! Highly recommend!!
