Simple enough rooms and breakfast but does the job, great view and central location, friendly check in and convenient amenities, would recommend.

This stay was amazing! The rooms were really high quality with a nice comfortable bed, blankets and pillows. The lighting was really nice too with light switches right at the bed and chargers and night stands on both sides. Everything was spotlessly clean. The view of the sea from the room was just as shown in the pictures and beautiful even in the rain. I was very happy with the services of renting a scooter and booking a bus service back to Hanoi. The breakfast was also great, I loved both the pho and the pancake (crepe). When we stayed in on a rainy day the housekeeper left us a bag of towels, water, etc. in place of coming in to our room which was so nice. The water in the shower was nice and hot but didn't have an infinite timespan, it maybe lasted 10 minutes but that was not an issue for us. Definitely underrated!!

One of the best price/quality that you can get for your money. The Hotel is clean and rooms are okay - some parts could get more cleaning - like windows, but otherwise it's hard to find any issues. I do recommend to pay a little more for harbor view as it is worth the money and this is the first time I really enjoy laying in bed and watch the view outside. Breakfast are ok - served in self-service so you can get a proper meal if you wish - it just doesn't change each day so might be something to consider if you stay for a longer period of time.

Awesome, truly awesome. We have been in the hotel for 2 nights (4 friends). Firstly the owner/receptionist gave us tour through the hotel se we could choose the most suitable room. When one of us didnt like the idea of sleeping 4 in one room she gave him a huge sale for the second room. She ordered us the 1 day boat tour at 21:00 for the next day and she also gave us recommendations all the time and found us motorbikes from a rental poce which they briught right in front of the hotel. The room was nicely clean with a beautiful view. We were also able to check out late (untill 16:00) so we could take a shower after hike before leaving. The only thing we didnt like as much was the Pho Ga for the breakfast, but there were 4 more options in the menu we could choose from. Over all one of the best stay we all had on my travels.

The room has the best view in town, without a doubt! It is also on the main street where all the action is happening and all the good restaurants are.

Igor (that's his English name) was helpful, courteous and polite, and also gave us an excellent discount. Would definitely want to visit Cat Ba Island again just to stay at this place for a week at least!

We stayed 2 nights and it was the cleanest place and the best room we have had in Vietnam, on top with a beautiful view. Also, price/quality is top! And on top, the shower had a door 😉 Great place, thanks for everything!

Wonderful hotel - we had a clean, big room with a balcony overlooking the bay. The staff are friendly and helpful. It has been one of the nicest hotels we've stayed at in Vietnam, and at a really good price (we paid 345000 VND in Jan). Can't recommend it enough.

Sea view rooms offer a great view of the bay and nice breeze! The owner was quite helpful and friendly. He helped us arrange a boat tour ($15 pp) and had a lovely day. Only downside was that motorbikes need to be left out front over night, but Cat Ba island is pretty safe.

Very friendly front staff with decent English. He let us see the room before collecting any money. The rooms are clean and we have a TV with satellite, a balcony overlooking the bay, and two beds for $20usd per night. I would absolutely come back!

Good price. Great service. Definitely get the seaview balcony room.
3MB/sec upload wifi is great for backing up all your vacation photos.

Mattresses are a bit hard (dense foam).

The best hotel in Cat ba town. Owner of the place is great and super helpful guy who really made our stay unforgetable. Whe helped us a lot with renting a bike a gave us some cool tips where to travel around. We paid extra money for sea view and it worth every Dong. Hotel is situated in the town center and you can easily walk to beaches.

We had a very nice room with a balcony with view to the Cat Ba bay. The room was clean and very big. Hot shower was working well.
The owner is very friendly and helped us many times!

Very nice place, we stayed in a room with sea view, IT was perfect. Extremely friendly owner, very clean and comfy room, hot water, good AC. The tours recommended by Mr. Thanh are very well organized, relaxing and cheap.

nice, large and clean rooms with great view. friendly but not pushy manager, gave good advise on tours and sights without trying to sell you anything. nice restaurants and bars nearby.

The owner is extremely helpful. He helped us with Lan Ha Bay tour and our transportation to Ninh Binh. The room with balcony facing the bay has magnificent view.

The hotel in not perfect but the view is amazing and the owner is very nice and helpful! We had a great time.
