They have the BEST smoked salmon that I’ve found yet!!

This is one of the biggest (and best) Fred Meyer locations in Portland. They have EVERYTHING. Groceries, health food, huge clothing section, shoes, accessories, home goods, tools, toys, car stuff, art stuff, gardening stuff, furniture, makeup, vitamins/supplements, etc etc etc. I remember when I was a kid, the Fred Meyer commercials had a song that went “what’s on your list today? You’ll find it at Fred Meyer!” And it still rings true to this day.

This location has had to adapt to all of the changes the city is going through right now… the insane amount of shoplifting and crime everywhere. I don’t fault FM whatsoever for doing what they have to do (I.e, closing all but one entrance after a certain hour, hiring security guards and having your receipt checked at the door) All the security guards are soooo nice, as are all the employees I’ve ever interacted with. I’m glad FM is taking steps to curb the shoplifting in their stores, rather than just up and leaving like Target did.

One last thing — I want to commend them for having every single register open in the days leading up to Christmas. I’ve never seen the parking lot that full before, and I was terrified the lines were going to be so long inside. But I waited less than 5 minutes in line to checkout, and that’s because they had literally every single check stand open, and every check stand had a bagger. You guys did it right!

This is my favorite store, and has been for 12 years. I just moved from 2 blocks away to 3 miles away, and I will keep coming here for the foreseeable future. The people are great - friendly and helpful - and this store has the best selection of whatever you're looking for, for miles. Plus, they're open until 11pm. You can't go wrong here.

I went to Fred Meyers and decided to pull out cash back on a self pay register. An error popped up and then I realized it had said no cash back. I assumed it did not go through so I left the register and went to the garden center. A few minutes later an employee named Lisa approached me and told me I had left my money and that it did indeed go through after all. I would have been out 60$ if it were for Lisa!! She tracked me down through out the store to find me. I was so appreciative of her, shout out to Lisa at this location!! :)

I go to this FM almost daily and have never had a bad experience. Every worker that runs specific sections are always above and beyond helpful (and sweet to my toddler) and friendly and interested in whatever meal or task I’m trying to achieve and how they can help me figure solutions out if whatever I’m looking for specifically isn’t around. This isn’t even my neighborhood FM but I go out of my way every day to go to this one specifically due to the friendliness and the wide selection compared to my closest FM.

A very good store where you can buy everything in one place.

Great place to witness a drug deal in the parking lot and then have a guy with a gun frisk you when you're done shopping. Really helps make me feel secure.

Hey, what a fine store this Fred Meyer location. The electronics section of the store is the most well stocked I've ever seen. It's like having a mini Best Buy within a Fred Meyer.

I needed a Bluetooth keyboard, they had it. Cassette tape to aux cord, they had it. HDMI extensions, boom. High quality Bluetooth headphones, boom. They have a pretty good system to thwart theft too.

One more thing, they sell Dawn! That's for you Google. For you.

Great selection of food and various non-food items and the prices are good w/plenty of sales. You can get pretty great deals on patio furniture at the end of the season, too. The store brand products are wonderful and a big savings from the name brand products.

I've shopped here for years in every capacity: in the store, picking up an order they put together, getting groceries delivered, and using the scanner to skip the lines that get pretty long on the weekends. It's always a good experience and I've never seen anything but helpful employees. They're surprisingly well-staffed, even on the weekends w/all the checkouts open (which I find to be a rarity in most stores). So even if the lines are long, they're doing everything they can to get people through quickly.

This is my go-to grocery store even though I pass several on my way from my house to Freddy's. Highly recommend!

Wonderful Thanksgiving morning shopping for a few things, and absolutely amazed at the teamwork and how organized and clean the entire store look and it was wonderful to see proper Staffing and everyone was busy taking care of last-minute needs. Our checkout lady Shannon was outstanding and very upbeat. Got us right through with a smile. Absolutely flabbergasted at the Fred Meyer Black Friday sock display it went on forever down the aisle down the middle of the main entryway and it was amazing. This store at Hollywood and Lloyd Center is a wonderfully design store and it is very enjoyable because everything is wonderfully organized and displayed. Of course I spent way more than I should have but they had a lot of interesting items and lots of good deals. Thumbs way up for being open on Thanksgiving morning thank you very much to all staff.

Robert is one of the most kindest managers he really goes above and beyond his call of duty when it comes to customer satisfaction he listens and he cares that's what matters I have been to other stores and when I requested to talk to a manager sometimes they would not come or they would leave me waiting until I finally gave up Robert you request him and he comes immediately he doesn't rush you he listens he's not rude him as a person is what spells excellent customer service I can't say enough good things about him I hope Fred Meyers appreciates you as much as customers do because there are not many managers that care like you I wrote this review because I needed to tell you that your appreciated more then you know people like you are people we remember you don't forget good people because there are not many around

Sarah was cashier and she was thorough, polite and very helpful and efficient. Another person was stalking shelves and was also very helpful but I didn’t get her name. This store routinely has excellent staff and I really like to shop here. Produce is good, bakery is great and store is clean. Staff excellent

I always find every employee at the NE Weidler Fred Meyer to be friendly and helpful but tonight I had such exceptional service I needed to write a review. Vlad in produce stopped what he was doing and went to look for a particular vegetable that was out of stock. It meant so much because it is the only vegetable my sick animal at home will eat. His kindness was so appreciated! Thank you!

Fresh variety fruits & vegetables, fresh cut meats, fresh seafood, imported wines, cheese and then there is a huge selection of baked goods. The attentive staff give fast, friendly service. It's no wonder why I can spend hours shopping there.

Clothing. Clearance racks. Nice changing rooms. Good sales. Shoes, too, but none that worked for me. My local Fred Meyer store doesn't carry clothing. I come here to use my quarterly coupon. Never works for me. I use up my budget on clearance items that don't allow coupon. No matter. Clothing nice. Be careful. Choose your classy style and these items can last several seasons. Reset your accessories. Voila! New look. I got one here and you can, too.

This is a newer Fred Meyer so the design is updated and upscale. It's easy to find what you're looking for and almost everything is right there! Food is always fresh and nicely displayed. It has a full deli and great meat and bakery departments. Additionally, there's the convenience of self check out so minimal wait time. Fred Meyer is a clean store that also has a Starbucks, jewellery, garden, floral, and electronic departments, as well as banking available. It's a one-stop shopping experience in a neat, conveniently located store.
