The time and he is always so nice to me, I’ve even brought my puppy in to show him and he was so happy to see him! Maybe these reviews were from a while ago, cause I’ve only seen two different workers and they’re both really nice to me.

..if ya been to one plaid pantry.....you've been to em all ....so they say...BUT this one happens to be in the ghetto where most anything goes...drunks and addicts frequent the place...im a homeboy so i can come and go no prob....but YOU if your not from around here and not accustomed to this kinda thing may just wanna stay in your car ( with the windows up ) and just drive on past it...!!!!!

Never reliably open, so don’t even consider this 24/7 just go to the one on glisan that ones always open and reliable

My 1 star rating is due to ownership, because the employees I’ve met and the manager Chris have been friendly and hard working. I’ve been dogsitting just a few houses down for the past 2.5 years and the trash around this Plaid Pantry is beyond disgusting. On our walks, I bring a plastic grocery bag to try to do my part as part of the Portland community. It should not be the employees responsibility to attempt to keep the homeless out of the dumpsters, and it’s nearly an every day task. The trash gets dumped out constantly, and then it gravitates onto the sidewalks, streets, and surrounding areas. It’s a health hazard and a safety issue. The fencing around the two large dumpsters needs to be secured, such that no one can climb over or through it. I’ll write a new review if this problem is ever successfully resolved.

As a woman, I no longer shop at any Plaid Pantries due to the fact that they require their male employees to hold my ID (vital info), while I go to unlock the beer cooler with the key. Not only that, then they scan my ID which feels super invasive depending on the creepy clerk. I’m over 40. It’s a stupid policy.

Got to an AMPM or 7-Eleven

I have yet again attempted to go to this location with a “closed for cleaning” sign on the door. I have gone over 5 times in the last year with this sign being present, not once have I been inside because it’s always closed. Save yourself the trouble and go to one of the nearby 7 eleven’s that is actually open.

Went in the other morning and put the chip to my debit card in and it was declined three times. It then gave me the option to swipe but before I could do that the manager put the things I was purchasing aside and told me "If you swipe it three times and it doesn't work then you can't swipe, it's our policy". I told him I was in there days before and the same thing happened, the employee let me swipe my card and it was fine. He told me that employee shouldn't have done that and had an unnecessary attitude about it. The store owner then came over and told the manager to let me swipe it and that he was given misinformation about the card reader. Really??? The manager didn't know something that basic?? Kind of unprofessional guys.

it’s always “closed for cleaning” but irl the guy is just watching anime on his phone. closes at any time, sometimes noon, sometimes three, sometimes seven, literally any time the guy decides. garbage. honestly an embarrassment for plaid, and the standards were already exceptionally low.

Very rude little eyebrowless girl, 5 min to 6am we are closed come back at 6. Well the doors where open so went in to buy my morning rock star and she treated me like I was going to steal something set the drinks down and leave she said. I know you got alot of tweakers around but dont treat me like a thief especially if I work and roll up in a garbage truck! Thanks for your rude employee I call her a worthless rude maggot!

Absolutely never open 24/7. They close at 2am if not beforehand. I live right next door. It's never ever open past 2 or before 6am. Don't bother.

THE RUDEST STAFF OF ANY CONVIENENT STORE I HAVE EVER BEEN IN!! I make a conscious effort to never go here and will walk the extra mile to the next one. People here need a wake up call or need to be fired. Also I think they might be illiterate? I have to read them the back of coupons on a regular basis It must be hard "living the dream" if you can't read .

Nicole didn't believe that I had a real licence with was understandable because it has a crack but when I came back with my passport she told me that because I don't have an Oregon ID I must not be paying taxes for the road and gave me aditude when I told her that I have a job that I pay taxes for. She then lied and told me that the DMV is is what pays for the road. She's dumb, mean, and shouldn't be in customer service.

Can't believe how inconvenient this convenience store is. Zero stars. Need a key to buy anything. Go to seven eleven instead

Just got kicked out of the store. The clerk said she didn't like my hat and told me I had to leave and that she refused to serve me because of the hat I'm wearing.

My son and I got kicked out for .... still have no clue. Horrible customer service. Don't have to tolerate garbage service like this when there's a plaid pantry on every corner... right to refuse service to anyone powertrip is a bit excessive here
