Ehrler's Ice Cream

What fun! A blast from the past. Great location, product, service and decor. I moved from a small town in WV in 1968 to the big city of Louisville KY! Remember Orie our milk man, delivering our milk and bread. So glad to see them in our community again. Ice cream is the best.

The rare combination of great ice cream and generous serving sizes. My wife mistakenly ordered 2 scoops. Everything was delicious.

Made a quick stop for dessert while walking around downtown Louisville before Thunder over Louisville. Service is quick and the ice cream is delicious. I recommend the Bourbon Pecan Fudge. I also got a little taste of each of my family members choices and they were all great.

I stopped in for an ice cream cone and ended up stuffing myself with a delicious sundae. The place was very clean and the person behind the counter was really friendly. In these days of high prices, I was pleasantly surprised by the size and quality of their ice cream sundaes. For $6 (not much more than an ice cream cone) I got a large cup overflowing with ice cream, chocolate sauce, whipped cream, nuts, and even several cherries on top. I will definitely return to Ehrler's the next time I'm in Louisville, but I will bring a friend to help me eat a delicious sundae.

Great ice cream. We were happy to find out the were open on Sunday. The customer service was great - ladies were friendly and quick to get our order in our eagerly waiting hands. Banana split hit the spot and scoops were huge. Great place to visit if you're looking for ice cream.

Bourbon pecan fudge ice cream was my favourite. Liked the idea of ice cream sandwiches with cookies 🍪

This ice cream shop should be list as a Must Visit place in Louisville KY. On top of excellent ice cream and atmosphere, the customer service is amazing and epic and hard to find in Louisville. If that team wasn’t the owners, then management should make sure to treat them well because they are precious and deserve to be rewarded

Great place for a tasty treat. Be warned. 1 scoop is all you need. As you can see in the pic, we ordered 2 scoops each thinking they would be small scoops. Not hardly. Great tasting cones and ice cream!

We ordered the bourbon sundae and it was fabulous!!! The bourbon pecan sauce was second to none! I don’t like brownies, but even the brownie was good. If you come to Louisville, Ehrler’s is a MUST stop.

Classic flavors and sundae twists are staples of this cute shop! The employees are very outgoing, eager to help customers, and seem to really enjoy their jobs which makes the experience 10x better!

Great place. Kids and wife loved their ice cream but I went after the frost sugar cookie. Perfect cookie!

This little ice cream spot is a local gem. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere was inviting and homey with a throwback feel mixed with a modern touch.

The ice cream was amazing and stood on its own. No need for any toppings or frills, just really thick high quality ice cream. The portions are healthy and a cone cost the same as a cup. Great date spot and I highly encourage you visiting! Two thumbs up!

We love the atmosphere, it was cozy but yet spacious. Customer service was AMAZING! The employee that took our order was knowledgeable, very patient with us. (Thank you😘) The brownie was delicious, the ice cream was delicious. We love the container our sundae was made in and the cute orange reusable spoons. We enjoyed our experience at Ehrler's, we will be back🙌🏻

Got the bourbon sundae and it's divine! Big enough for 2 or more to share. The brownie is warm and fudgy, the ice cream is cool with a good bourbon flavor, topped with caramel sauce, salted pecans and whipped cream and a cherry - wow!

Delicious ice cream shop located on whiskey row. I ordered the bourbon pecan fudge and was served an amazing helping of ice cream. The entire treat was tasty from beginning to end. You can really tell some hard work was put into this ice cream.

This ice cream was good! And you get your money's worth here (make sure to leave room for dessert and then some)!
