Food Universe Marketplace has become my favorite grocery store, primarily due to its welcoming checkout staff and regular discounts. The team is consistently friendly and helpful, providing excellent customer service. The store's weekly promotions add significant value to the shopping experience.
Despite the narrow passageways, the positive aspects outweigh this minor inconvenience. The convenience, friendly atmosphere and cost-saving opportunities make Food Universe my top choice for grocery shopping.
I highly recommend Food Universe to anyone seeking a delightful shopping experience with a helpful staff and attractive promotions. It has truly become my go-to destination for groceries and I anticipate many more enjoyable visits in the future.

So far, so good. This will be a convenient addition to the neighborhood. I took a look around but I didn't have the time to shop. It's clean and organized. Well stocked with a diverse assortment of product that fits in with the diversity of the neighborhood. There's only street parking, which is unfortunate because it seems like a nice place to shop. The parking situation will only make it useful for quick items and whatever I can carry home. I'll will update.
Update 2/2022 - it's usually busy but never more than at minute line. They're a good fit for the diverse neighborhood.

i come here often, prices are a little pricey depending on what you’re getting but place is always clean and the people working there always helpful and nice!

It was one of the beat supermarkets in the Bensonhurst area. Whatever you are looking for, you'll find it in this market.

Love this place..They always have what you need and when ever you need it. And they do delivery too. The food is fresh and they restock often. They have types of food like fruits, veggies and junk food.And even drinks!

Great to find halal meat, will be purchasing meat from here. All kinds of rice as well. Fast and easy service. Brilliant staff who always go above and beyond.

Good place. Wide range of products. The line was a bit too long when I went there and the place is somewhat cramped, but it is stuffed with different produce.

They have yogurt in bottle 😋 (it's hard to find)

It is so great to have an American supermarket close to my home, Most of the supermarkets in the neighborhood are Asian and have mostly Asian food only. We used to have Waldbauns nearby but when they went out of business another Asian supermarket took over. Food Universe is very convenient and clean and well organized and as long as the prices are reasonable I will shop there on a regular basis. Their flyer also states that they offer a five percent senior discount which is great.

So glad another supermarket opened in the neighborhood. Checked it out this weekend and I gotta say I wasn't expecting it to be as big as it is. Very clean, staff was super nice and friendly. Will definitely be going back

Great location!! The staff was VERY helpful especially Mish. The produce and deli section is extremely fresh. The store is always clean and nice selections in the grocery isles. Thank you guys I will be coming back very soon!!

Had a birthday house party catered and they did a beautiful job. Food was delicious, plentiful and the antipasto presentation was so nicely done. Everyone enjoyed it!
