Seriously I had the most amazing experience today. The owners are so genuine and authentic. I cannot say how much I enjoyed visiting their bike shop today.

I drove all the way down from Purdue University to check out this place. Before visiting this shop, I visited many other bicycle shops in Lafayette, Bloomington, and Indianapolis and just couldn't find the right bike at the right price. This place was wonderful! I found a very nice bike and they even helped attach a basket, a cargo rack, and a water bottle holder to it! I even got 10% off on my purchases! Their team was so interactive and helpful! I forgot the guy's name, but this worker with orange/red hair was so nice and very helpful! I very much appreciate you guys for helping my brother and I find the best bike for a great price! Now we can both get around campus with bo trouble! Thank you!

Walked my girlfriend through buying her 1st (adult) bike. And have been super patient and helpful with several follow up visits to get the bike adjusted and dialed in right.
When it came time for me to get a new bike. Deanna hit it out of the park.

I bought my Cannondale from a friend in the middle of last winter because I needed a new commuter after getting railed by a rude motorist and getting stress cracks on my frame.

I have had so many troubles with Jacques(my new bike) and these incredible humans have held my hand through my whole "new bike journey" and I couldn't be more grateful.

My son was starting a long bike tour, and the rack he had on his bike was failing. We came in, and Deanna immediately made us feel welcome, and found the right solution to carry all his gear. She and the mechanic (Brett? - sorry I lost track of his name) were on the job quickly, and got my son ready to ride again in less than an hour. What great service and professionalism! Brought my used Fuji in for a tune-up, tape, and new chain and everyone at South Side Cyclery was completely awesome. They even finished my work a day early! You can tell these folks really love the sport and I look forward to my next visit.

Ebike builder's log, cycledate 13-72023: Received a transmission indicating the early completion of repairs to the Stingray-class battlecruiser. Upon successful return to drydock, inspections reveal complete repair of battle damage with additional improvements not requested, but most needed. A welcome surprise, and at shockingly low monetary cost. A full round of commendations are due upon the cheerful and most generous and helpful crew of the Cyclery. No amount of thanks feels entirely adequate. A salute to those who keep the wheels of the south side turning.

I stopped in today since we were visiting the city and they had a Cannondale I was interested in. I was immediately greeted by and had conversations with both people on the floor. I told them I wasn't intending on buying and even then, they gave me great customer service and didn't act like I was wasting their time. I will definitely make the 2 hour drive to them when I'm finally ready to upgrade my bike!

Great staff. I have purchased complete bikes, a variety of parts, and even had a full bike assembled with parts purchased on the internet at Southside without a single issue. Tony, Donna, and the rest are always friendly, attentive and thorough. They don't try to "up sell" like some other shops. Even if they don't have what I need in stock, they can usually get it pretty quickly.
I am at a loss as to those who complain about phone calls. Southside staff always calls or emails me when service is finished or a special order is in. Granted, the pandemic has changed many things, but I have had no problems with Southside. Flat tire? Fixed while I waited. Bent wheel? I was told it would be a week. Fixed in a couple of days. Glad I left it there.
I recommend Southside to all who inquire about my bikes, be it my classic Paramount or racier Propel. I trust their judgment and enjoy working with them. It is likely I'll purchase my first e-bike from them.

I highly recommend SSC. They have helped me with a few small repairs on my bicycle and are without fail friendly, fast, and very reasonably priced.

I just retired and wanted to get back into cycling after 5 years away from riding. A friend suggested South Side Cyclery because the staff is so knowledgeable. Owners Tim & Deanna are amazing! Deanna started by understanding my needs and current skill set. She spent over an hour with me getting the right fit and making sure I was comfortable with the Liv bike (brand dedicated to women) that I had selected. The entire staff is friendly and their customer service is outstanding! If I could give more than five stars for this review, I would!

South Side Cyclery allowed me to deliver an adult trike to them that I purchased somewhere else. The shop assembled it very quickly and had it ready to ride for me - all at a very reasonable price. I am very pleased with the work done on my trike and recommend them highly!

South Side Cyclery is truly a local treasure. Great service and source of information. Tim sold me the bike I am presently riding. He and his team have been my source for parts and performing the maintenance. South City is fortunate to have a mom-and-pop business that takes such pride in their work.

South Side Cyclery is the best! The owners and staff are amazing and will set you up with a new bike or help you take care of your existing ones. The shop promotes an inclusive cycling community and hosts weekly rides throughout spring, summer, and fall. Definitely go here if you're in the market for a new bike or need maintenance or gear!

Great place and wonderful, knowledgeable people work here! I have come in multiple times with problems I thought would take hours/days/weeks to resolve and every single time I’m out of there within 30 minutes with a smile on my face and a bike in exceptional condition. I have known TK the owner for going on thirty years and can tell you this guy knows his stuff. I used to race on the Schwinn Homegrown mountain bike team with him so I have first hand knowledge of his experience in the racing and biking industry. I also worked with him at a bike shop. He is the guy you can go to for anything: race advice, mechanical advice, and sales advice. That’s my kinda guy. This is the spot for bikes.

I recently moved from Boston to St Louis in March and was looking for a new bicycle repair shop for my bike. The previous shop I attended really took care of my prize possession and I had high hopes based on reviews this place would do the same.

My bike went in for about a week of overdue service and after it came back, I did not recognize it! They did a phenomenal job and you can really see the attention to detail required to get this unit back to near new again.

South Side, thanks for you help. It's a rarity in our society where people actually deliver on what they promise and your shop nailed it! You have a customer for life.

Had a good time at the ozark trails with very good switching no squeaking and tires very good heading with soft dirt and gravel thank you south side Cyclery for the good tuneup and repair I’ll do more business with you in the future
