The Garden Shop

These folks are friendly and knowledgable. I stopped in to buy a Christmas tree 🌲 which was reasonably priced and beautifully displayed. I asked a question about planter plants and ended up buying a pot of shamrock. I plan to return in the spring and make my home and garden beautiful with their expertise and amazing selection. They have a ton of cacti 🌵 and succulents to suit just about anyone.

Very sweet people at the front desk. They listened to my needs and recommended the perfect plant. They even thought to ask if I needed something pet safe when I forgot to mention it. Everything on offer seemed healthy and there was a decent variety, even in the winter.

Friendly, understanding, knowledgeable and supportive. Highly recommend.

Just stopped in to look over the Christmas trees real quick but Oh boy !
I wound up with a car load of beautiful poinsettias, wreaths and the most gorgeous fresh cut Christmas tree St Louis has ever seen. Thank you to such a wonderful staff that served us up a cup of hot chocolate and showed us around, Chris loaded the tree on the roof of my car and helped with the other things we purchased as well, I just want to say Thank you Garden Shop I am so impressed !

Nice to see them up and running. They had lots of healthy potted plants to choose from. Everything seemed to be running smoothly! Service was helpful and friendly.

I've been fortunate to witness the remarkable journey of my dear frient and her husband, who have transformed their passion for gardening int a a flourishing garden shop. What truly sets this shop apart is the exceptional level of care and expertise they bring to their customers. If you haven't been there yet it's worth a visit. They have mums in stock now and jack o' lanters amongst a wide variety of outdoor plants and house plants. I purchased a Mass Cane plant and love it!..low maintenance.

Edit: I went in to make a return because I no longer need the bug killer. The woman was so sweet. She was very apologetic and even gave me a very nice gift card to use! I will definitely be coming back!

I have so many different plants in pots, hanging baskets, and raised bed gardens. I was having a severe cucumber beetle problem and I went in for advice. The very nice young man picked out a spray and told me to shake it well and spray them all down and it might help. Turns out it is a plant KILLER spray! My entire garden is ruined. Tomato, okra, sunflower, cucumber, potatoes, different types of beans, pumpkin patch, watermelon, and all my flowers are dead! I’m so freaking sad! I spent so much money and time on this wonderful garden and I was so worried about the pests. Turns out the “treatment “ he sold me was worse than the bugs. The bugs are feasting on my dead garden. This is just devastating! Please beware. I should have read it before I used it but I had to get to work. I came home and everything is dead! Please double check anything that you buy so you don’t have the same fate as me. Literally crying.

I stopped by when they weren't even officially open and they still were super helpful and friendly. I finally made it to their first weekend and purchased some high quality plants which were priced below the box store cookie cutter Bonnie plants you find elsewhere. The staff is phenomenal and are invested in what they do. I'm excited for this new operation and wish them the best of luck.

I was sad when Bayers closed, but have to say that The Garden Shop is a fantastic replacement! Amazing variety, good prices, helpful and friendly people. I went on a Saturday in June and was so happy to see how busy they were. Hope I can still get my Christmas tree from there too! Great addition to the neighborhood, happy to support this local business!

Edit: Went back today and everyone was very helpful and price tags on what I was looking for. Guess the lady yesterday was just having a bad day.

Went there for the 1st time today, a bunch of the things I looked at didn't have price tags. I only saw 2 employees, one was helping a lady, and she seemed great. The other lady was just rearranging plants, and when I asked her how much something was, she looked at it and mumbled something about they just got them in. Then another customer came over and asked about carts for all the things she was buying, and she jumped up and started helping her. Never answered my question. When I went into the shop to see if there was someone that could help me, she was checking the lady out and just gave me a blank stare. Guess I wasn't important enough to rate help with my 2 plants. I'd give it a 1, but the younger girl was doing a awesome job with her customer.

Staff friendly & helpful. Great selection of fruits, veggies & herbs for your garden.

These folks have big shoes to fill, but I think they can do it.

These are really nice people, give them a chance.

Friendly staff; nice selection. So glad that someone opened a new nursery in this spot. The new parking lot and little wagons for hauling your plants are pluses also.

A great place with friendly folks and plants that are hard to find elsewhere. If you're looking to bring native pollinators, birds, and beauty to your yard, this is the place to go. Bring nature home!
