Best donuts around.
My wife and son have been having a craving for the chocolate long John's. We love the you can get fresh donuts in the evening as they are not morning people. I'm on a diet but still could not leave without a fresh donut, unfortunately my favorite was not made yet apple fritters but a good old glazed hit the spot instead. If you enjoy great donuts I highly recommend giving donut drive in a try.

I was kind of surprised how friendly they were they actually was grateful I was there as a customer and that's hard to find in St Louis anymore not only was the customer service excellent and they were so friendly The donuts were incredible I was told how good this place was I wanted to try it and they hit a home run I ordered a variety and my favorite is anything with caramel or cake donuts and every single one was a home run obviously I had lots left over I even ate them the day after cold out of the refrigerator and they were fantastic I can't tell you how could you donuts are and how nice these people are I highly recommend donut Drive-In I will be back as a customer and the prices were reasonable I ordered 18 donuts and it came to just over 20 bucks which is fantastic that's a great price I ordered some cake donuts and I ordered some fancy ones so I'm very happy with the price.

Haven't been there for years but stopped on a recent Saturday and all was as good as ever. Stood in line outside for 20 minutes but worth the wait. Fresh, tasty donuts, loved the old-time jelly filled and the monstrous cinnamon. In an overpriced world, the stop was a treat for great value, taste and friendly staff. Will not wait Yeats to return. Highly recommended ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This is the best donut shop in town, hands down. I've been getting donuts here since I moved to the area 12 years ago. They're always fresh and delicious, they never disappoint. The staff is always friendly. My favorites are the glazed chocolate cake donuts, the apple fritters, and the ones with carmel and nuts on top. You can't go wrong with any of them, really. They're all delicious. I just wish I wasn't on a weight loss journey and eating better so I could enjoy them more than once a month!

Donut Drive-In is without a doubt the best donut shop in St. Louis, don't believe me. Read what Alton Brown said from the food network:

This is down the street from my house and I have been going there for 25 years now, even when relatives come into town this donut shop is there first quest while staying with me.
My selection consists of the best glazed donut that melts in your mouth, the old fashioned, which is perfect taste wise, the vanilla or chocolate custard filled, the chocolate glazed cake donut,
cinnamon rolls are so soft, and the cinnamon along with glaze is so tasty, the glazed lemon filled melts in your mouth, and the filling isn't tart its just right. Now the donut holes are so good, my mother could only afford donut holes when we were little tykes and do memorable. The chocolate cake Glazed donut holes ate my favorite snack donuts, the glazed donut holes are so scumptous like the donut.
If you like twists, cinnamon or glazed, these are a must try.
Can't forget my little brother's favorite the best apple fritter and believe me he has tried all of them around town and no ones compare size wise or flavor wise.
Then, to top it off, you can pre-order for the next morning pickup in their box outside as long as you get your order in by 4 pm the night before. There is always a line wrapped around the building every day that should tell you how popular this donut shop really is to the neighborhood. The staff are friendly and welcoming every day with a smile for all.
Prices are reasonable, along with choices bring plenty. If you're in St.Louis you need to stop by and grab some fresh daily made donuts. You just can't miss this local business.

I live in soulard and John's donuts is closed here on Sunday. So I took two buses to Donut Drive-in, waited in a line of about 8 people outside. Got eight donuts for $15. When I got back to the bus stop I ate the cinnamon roll covered in caramel icing and chopped pecans. I'm not exaggerating when I say it's the best donut I've ever had in my life and I'm 55 years. No doubt I will be back soon.

Some of the best donuts in St. Louis. And their coffee is great too! It's carryout and outdoor seating only. Unfortunately there's no inside dining and barely enough standing room for about four customers. Their apple fritters and chocolate long johns are some of my favorites. All of their donuts and pastries are made fresh daily so it sure smells good around the place whenever they're open!

This place has amazing donuts, and their service is always the best. They move the line quickly, so don't be deterred if there are people waiting outside; it's a small space for customers inside. We also find the prices are very fair for their high quality. Love the addition of online ordering ahead of time as it makes the trip even quicker. We drive out of our way to come to this place because it's worth it!

Perfect shop to make a part of your morning walk in the St. Louis Hills. Some of the best coffee in St. Louis! Thorough and friendly staff are efficient and eager to help. I even got some Prairie Farms milk from Edwardsville to go with my coffee and donuts. This place boasts a line out the door virtually all times that it is open, but it is worth the (very short) wait. Definitely a staple for when I visit friends in STL.

I hope they never change. Delicious donuts- friendly atmosphere! If you like donuts without the masking taste of tons of sugar- this is the right place. Soo delicious- I highly recommend!

The best donut shop ever ! They are always in their making fresh donuts 🍩. It’s a small space so you get to actually see them working and making the donuts when you come in. The staff is always nice and friendly ! It gets pretty busy at times but always worth the wait !! Keep up the good work

We visited this morning. The shop is small and unassuming, and we waited in line a few minutes before entering. COVID restrictions were in place, so it felt safe. The apple fritters were very good, and our group enjoyed other varieties as well. It is a great traditional bakery for donuts!

Great energy! The employees are SUPER sweet and more than patient and friendly. Plus the donuts are Super delicious!!!! Fluffy, full, it’s a little bit of heaven in my mouth if I’m being honest.

I saw a large line outside an eating establishment that caught my attention. I was actually driving somewhere else and turned around to see what the hubbub was about. Once I saw it was a donut shop I knew it was time for me to get in line as well. As luck would have it, it was well worth the wait. Bonus, I took some pictures. I will be returning as these were so good if not the best donuts I’ve had in awhile. Long line? No problem! Also the staff were super helpful.

Stopped by for a donut on a Saturday night. The place was packed, with good reason, it had some tasty donuts
