They had everything I needed. It was clean and friendly. AND I picked up my prescriptions and got my shingles shot! The staff there is SO friendly! If you go there, see a lady named Meenakshi in the front of the store. She's super nice and very helpful.

I was really surprised, this isn't what I remembered from my 2001 trip. This Safeway has a great selection of organic nice foods. Of course it's got orange cheese but I can forgive that. People were friendly. Got everything I need in one stop.

Last minute quick stop. Ran in got the 3 items I needed and left within 5 minutes. Didn't have to wait in line because I went thru the self check out Lanes which are simple to use. This store is always stocked well and is clean store with friendly workers.

Great staff and everything I need in a grocery store. They're floral section is top notch. I got my first orchid there and it's still alive and blooming a month later! Their vegetables always look healthy and appealing too. It only takes a second to pick up a club card and it routinely saves me between 5 and $20 every trip. I also like that it has a Starbucks inside and their staff is great too! They remember you and your drink if you come in often enough like I do. A great neighborhood grocery store.

There Friday $5.00 sushi is always fresh and yummy. If you want a specific roll that is not out they will make it for you. Of course with in the sushi they make no special orders.
Staff is aleays helpful and courtous at Washington Blvd. Safeway in Fremont.

The Employee are very helpful, kindhearted, never treated me poorly, I've been shopping here for a very long time I know every single employee and new ones that comes threw I've never had a bad experience yet you ,won't be disappointed to shop here they will help you find whatever you need and professional attitude always making you feel welcome that's what a store, and employees should make you feel welcome, they are family oriented great with children I highly recommend this Safeway

Great location. Shopping is always fast and easy. Always well organized and very pleasant employees. I've never had any problems shopping whether it's early in the morning or late at night. Always the same friendly smiles and good conversation.

This is my neighborhood Safeway store and I love it. Always friendly and helpful employees. I've been coming here for more than 15 years and will continue another 15 or more! Love those chicken tenders! Always crispy! And when they run deals on beer and alcohol it's definitely worth the trip in. You go Safeway with your awesome employees and deals.

Feedback about online shopping
I placed an order on the app on December 28, 2022, and it was delivered on December 29. I found the following problems:
1. The out-of-stock item does not show out-of-stock on the app, but you can still place an order
2. Replace the out-of-stock product with other products. The replaced product: 1. It is not what I need. 2. The price of the replaced product is unacceptable
And all this did not communicate and seek consent in advance, and directly brushed the price difference after the replacement on the account again!
After discovering this problem, I found that the order on 11.2 also had this problem.
The specific commonality is as follows: mixed nuts (preferential price $3) are replaced by macada mia nuts ($12.99), and the price difference after the replacement is directly brushed again on my account
I don’t need macada mia nuts. I’m already applying for a refund for this product for the order on 12.29. Now I’m requesting an order for 11.2, and I’ve replaced it with 2 packs of macada mia nuts. The total amount is $25.98. Give me a refund. Thanks!

I love this store! It is close to my home and the staff are always glad to see you, they create that friendly atmosphere in the store, so you feel really welcome in there. That is so unusual for the large chain stores!
And I’d like to thank the store management for installing self checkouts- that really saves time!

Very clean, organized,good service but the only bad thing is I can't find tres leches cake anymore😭.

I frequently visited this store, sometimes with my daughter and grandsons, but mostly alone. they have an awesome food service counter which served among my favorites was this potatoe-cheese soup, and a fruit salad. OMG! Id go there day after day to eat. there were other regulars who came just as often as me. One evening I went there to eat and after awhile I noticed there was a lady who worked across from where I sat at the Starbucks counter who every time I looked up, she was glaring at me, she even came over a couple times near me wiping down tables and rearranging chairs even though not a soul had been in the vicinity. finally I noticed another young lady hanging near the Safeway customer service counter and some unoccupied cash register stalls and even speaking with the Starbucks lady. I assumed she was management. eventually she walked up to me introuced herself as a Safeway manager and informed me that I had to leave, and some other nonsense about the seating being for Starbucks customers only. I was livid, but I left. I immediately contacted the number on my receipt and recounted my experience. and the very next day returned to the store inspite my annoyance about the previous day. I spoke with the actual manager on duty who also happened to have been there the prior day, she was shocked at what I said, even became a bit angry. informed me that she had no idea who that young lady was, but would investigate the camera tapes and see if they could identify these people. She also told me that they were both wrong, that the seating area belonged to Safeway and was a courtesy for Starbucks to use, that I could sit there every day, all day if I so desired even if I didn't purchase anything. I wish I had followed up to see what became of that investigation. but after that I was so disappointed with my experience I only stop in on occasion to buy the soup or other items then just leave.

Pretty small store compared to the Safeway at The Hub. Usually you spend more time waiting in the check out lane than you do shopping, with only 1 check out open which can be quite dreadful. They close the liquor side of the store pretty early in the evening, right around after work / dinner time rush. Staff is friendly. SHOUT OUT to Cameron! Hella chill dude that will help you with anything you may need. Make sure to bring sanitizing wipes for the carts - they have cleaning wipes at the entrances for carts but they seem to be always out. Bathroom is not for the public any longer due to people thrashing it with garbage/not cleaning up after themselves. Overall it's a good place for quick shopping trips.

I work late nights so it’s hard to find places still open when I’m off work, always open when I need them and never have issues with anything very clean and nice!

I would like to thank the young man at the bistro for noticing and servicing me, even though it was not his station. I call this common sense and great customer service. Trust me, the neighboring Safeway does not have such standards. Hope the young man gets a raise.😁

I have been to Safeway before and this was my second time and I still love it. It's so spacious and just many little areas like a Starbucks, flowers, and restaurant. And the service is really good. Friendly staff.

Good Safeway, friendly, clean, well stocked and great staff.

Not cheap. Come for the quality.
