House of Cards

This was my first time very going here! They had a great selection of games. We came as a group of friends to play some of the games they had available for free to play. They allowed us to eat our meal at the table while playing. We had a great time and the staff was super kind!

Half of the space is a store that sells games, snacks, drinks, game-making supplies, and discs for disc golf. The other half was an open room with tables to sit at to play.

I would definitely recommend this as a place to meet for board games and card tournaments. We enjoyed it!

Been coming here since 2015 and have always had an excellent experience. No other card store I've visited has come close in terms of friendly staff, selection of products, space to play, and community. I've met several people to regularly play magic the gathering with here. Their events are well run and always have plenty of people. I've recently moved but still consider this my LGS and go by whenever I can, I'd highly recommend anyone interested in MtG or tabletop games to check it out!

Went for a 40K tournament. The tournament was amazing and everyone there was great. Got to speak with the workers and they where lovely. Clean spacious good selection. Totally recommend.

Hi! I superbly recommend this place for people of all ages and orientations. I'm a teenager and have been coming here for a few months now. At first, I was so scared because I didn't know what magic was, and I wanted to learn, so I eventually asked some people to teach me about the game. They treated me immensely with kindness, much like the staff which can be misunderstood and called 'rude' in certain reviews. There is a disabled community who are often there, along with lgbt folks and a bunch of people who make playing tcgs amazing and fun. :)

From one local business owner to another, I hope this store continues to keep up its current standards. Always had a pleasant experience on the few visits I have made so far, and from what I understand before they have expanded quite a lot.

Amazing card shop with great owners and a great magic crowd. Everyone always makes you feel welcome. I've enjoyed the magic prereleases and draft nights there.

This place is nothing short of amazing! The staff is very warm and welcoming, and it feels like a gaming family away from home when you visit. They will help you find a game you are comfortable with, so pop on in and chat!

I've been to a lot of card jobs and this is definitely one of my favorites. Once you get to know the staff, they'll remember your name and ask how everything is going on in your life. They sell magic the gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh, pokémon, flesh and blood. There are nights for each of those games including a night for Lorcana. They have board game night, d&d groups, Warhammer and Star wars X-Wing. Just an all-around great place.

The owners of the shop are very welcoming and friendly. Their card selection is fantastic.

They host events and weekly game nights. This is a very safe welcoming place for all members of the community.

Fantastic store, with great staff always willing to help with questions. Plenty of gaming space too, with a great selection of store board games if you don’t want to haul your own in. A great place to also get your younger family members into tabletop gaming that I recommend without hesitation.

Super chill place to hang out at and play Magic. There are plenty of board games available as well, and the people generally tend to hang out and talk with you. It really doesn't feel like a store, more of a hangout spot.

Just moved to the area and this will definitely be the place I go for MTG. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful. The environment and community there is welcoming and fun. I can't wait to go back!

This place for my family has been an amazing find to stumble upon. My son like most kids his age had a huge collection of Pokemon cards and would take them to school, give them away, lose them. You name it. One day we were driving and he saw this place so we stopped by. They have Pokemon cards to buy, individually or the packs, as well as lots of other gaming needs. But most importantly there were people there who could explain the card game to my son as well as myself. And a club to go to with the other players which range in age from 3 to adult. My son has since we have been going now takes care of his cards, which if you've spent enough on them as a parent makes me happy, but I have seen his math, reading, and problem solving skills just take off and he doesn't even realize he's "learning"
The people are amazing, it's comfortable seating for players or parents, they have wifi, snacks and drinks to purchase. Stop in and check this place out.

Very engaging and positive establishment with wonderful staff and very polite patrons. If you are a major nerd like me, this shop is heaven on earth. Wonderful place to play many different card games and DnD every week (almost always). Please come check House of Cards out!

This is a great place for tabletop gaming. My fiance LOVES playing Magic the Gathering and would go to Zenergy Gamers while we lived in Summerville South Carolina so since we've been in North Carolina (Winston-Salem area)she's been going to House of Cards. I think she's found her home away from home when it comes to gaming stores.

The staff was very helpful and nice, and the activaties were fun and friendly (anyone can join). The only thing I didn't like is they didn't have what i wanted, however if I wanted to they would have ordered it for me and it would have taken less than 2 days. All in all a great establishment for beginners, but veterans may find it lacking. (Still great to meet new people and make some friends)

I had been interested in playing D&D Adventurer's League for a while but never knew much about it or where to go. I messaged House of Cards and they were very friendly and answered what questions I had and said come on in. They had a great DM ready with an adventure and the owner even jumped in to help get the game started for us to get a good experience. Everyone was welcoming and it had a great atmosphere. Will definitely go back to play more and support the store getting my gaming needs there. There's always a good amount of players with Magic: The Gathering and Dungeons and Dragons and you can hop right in. They have many other events for various games, cards, etc as well in a very welcoming atmosphere. Prices will be slightly higher than you'd find online, but supporting a store that offers services and a place to gather and play some great games is by far worth it.
