Menards

Nice parking lot but a little hard to get in or out of depending on traffic.

They have several security people on site all the time (unfortunately) so I feel reasonably safe.

They are usually good on stock so I don't have to go to another store to get what I need.

Friendly staff. Clean store.

One detraction is in the bathroom - they pipe in the music from the piano and it is way too loud, if I need to go in I bring my hearing protection with me.

Great store. Very clean. They often have someone playing the piano at the top of the escalators. And staff are friendly and helpful. What else could you want??!!!

I love this Menards. Huge parking lot means easy parking. It has 2 floors so it's always well stocked. I went for spray paint and for some reason the spray paint aisle was virtually empty. No idea why. Everything else on my list was in stock though. The cashier's are always ample and very little wait time. Always a good place to shop.

Efficient & friendly, quick to help find or offer solution. Never a long line to wait in for check out or returns. I enjoy the piano music but speakers on 1st level are very distorting and full of static.

Great Menards with an awesome selection (better than some other local Menards). Indoor wood yard is awesome, especially in the winter and the two-level design makes navigating the store almost easier in some ways. Staff is always friendly and prices are great, especially with rebates. Easy place to drop in and grab what you need for projects.

It was great! Bag sale this week - 15% off! Also did you know there's an app? And there's a map right in the app! Awesome - get the app! I found out that moen doesn't make cap plugs for their kitchen faucet sprayer attachments. Not good news, but friendly associates there to help. Cheers!

I like Menards. Most employees there are nice and I always find neat things for affordable prices. If you have home projects or some art craft supplies if highly recommend it.

Huge central hardware store, 2 story, with plenty of staff on hand to help. Big parking lot and accessible off a main road.

I like Menard's a little more than Home Depot if for nothing more than the layout of the store itself. Plus they seen to have a better variety of goods within the same location. I went for AAA batteries, Ray-O-Vac brand. That brand is just as good as either Energizer or Duracell but are rather less expensive. I usually get a package of 48 for $18.95. The same quantity of either of the other two would cost probably $3.00 or $4.00 more and I refuse to pay $20.00 plus for something so ubiquitous as disposable batteries! Plus I got some wood and a wireless transmitter for my TV since it lacks Bluetooth capability. The transmitter is part of a Bluetooth headphones set that can be used as a wired headset as well. The price was a measley $24.00! It's hard to find anything similar for such a low price, anywhere. I forgot the super glue singles but I'll get it next trip. Also I usually stop there when I'm going to shop at Cub Foods as both stores are on the Green Line and very convenient for me with one exception and that is when the sidewalks haven't been cleared of snow since my wheelchair really does not appreciate the precipitation as much as other machines, like snowmobiles. Fred the Sled tolerates the snow but that's all. In all, if you need a variety of goods you really can't go wrong in visiting Menard's.

Always people ready to assist you with your needs, !! And when they help you locate a product. They always assist you to the shelf where it is! Most retailers just point on some vague direction, like toward Mecca. Then your on your own. Lol I appreciate the extra effort everytime I shop there on university ave in Saint Paul.

Ok, so above is my last er review, I came in today looking for a old fashion vinyl mini blind for the kitchen window and again I asked a team member where this located, she was super nice and brought me to the correct isle!! It was obvious she was going to take her lunch break, AND STILL TOOK HER TIME AND DIDN'T RUSH ME WITH MY QUEST.. these folks act like an owner, not a hourly employee! I really appreciate them. during The Great Resignation MENARDS has no worries .. these people are what makes this a corporation that will weather much worse and still come out at the top of the heap!!!

Joe in electrical was phenomenal! He took time to understand what I needed and explain my options for fluorescent lighting. As someone who spends quite a bit of time and money at home improvements stores I really appreciated his knowledge and kindness.

I had never gone through the process of purchasing building materials before and didn't know where to start. Ken saw me in the garden center and asked if I needed help. He then proceeded to clearly explain how to order and pick up building materials without making me feel silly for not knowing what I was doing. He patiently walked me through each step which helped me feel more confident. I left the store with everything I needed and then some. I'll definitely return.

The paint department was exceptionally helpful! They explained everything and helped me pick out all the tools I'd need. I'm kind of an idiot when it comes to home repairs, but they made me a lot smarter :)

Very clean. Good people. The young people are very nice. The price is reasonable. Rebates could be used for groceries. I love that option when there is nothing else to buy. Their returning policy is the best in town. This is the store I use for all my home improvement.

We love this store! It sound weird, but it's a great family outing. We all enjoy browsing and finding interesting items. The kids love the candy/toys and the shopping cart ramp. My husband and I love that we can find everything we need for our home improvement projects.

This is only because NASIR was amazing after 3 workers lack of assistance he heard me and went out his way to assist. Provided 5 Star Service

Love this Menards. It’s big and nice workers. I like how they have the second level where you can take an escalator up the second floor.

Hats off to Whoever is the hiring manager for this location. Considering the area this location is in and the economy we live in finding good employees is tough. The kids working here are super helpful and kind. They know where everything is and will help without being rude about it. The teens working here were clearly raised well and are well mannered. You could mistake this location for a being in the suburbs.
