I came in to do a last minute exchange before a big trip. The staff was so kind, knowledgeable about the products, and efficient. They processed the exchange within 5 minutes and Amy was so helpful!

When I found out that The Bigger Carry-On was unavailable online in the color that I wanted, I was directed to this store as they still had some stock left. I called the next morning to see if there's any chance that I could purchase one, and Hannah R. was extremely patient and helpful when I placed an order over the phone. Because of her excellent service (and the customer service rep. Jacob who pointed us in the right direction) I was able to get my dream luggage before my upcoming trip and I could not be more happy or satisfied with my entire purchasing experience!

Outstanding service! I thought too long about getting a limited edition color, and it was no longer available for order online. I called the Domain (Austin) store to see if they had it in stock--no. However, Hannah Rose checked where it might be available (California) and called the store to have it shipped.
The store manager/supervisor Molly called me back to process the payment.
Highest compliments to both Hannah Rose and Molly for going above in their customer service!

My review isn’t for the store (although, once upon a time, I did send my Carry-On to Austin when they retro-fitted my battery compartment) but with the company itself.

In March 2021 I flew from Long Beach to Phoenix and checked my Carry-On. I flew Southwest and it was free. When I arrived in Phoenix, I had to go to the bus terminal to make my connection for the rest of the trip home. At the terminal I noticed a large dent in my Carry-On. I wasn’t sure I could get back to the airport, make a claim with Southwest and get back to the terminal before my bus arrived and since it was the last bus of the day to my home, I let it go. Once I got home I emailed both Southwest and Away and notified them of the damage. Before Southwest could tell me it wasn’t covered because I didn’t notify them within four hours of landing, Away replied and told me what I needed to do to get a replacement (and they apologized for the fail).

I got to keep the battery the original Carry-On came with, along with the charger, the laundry bag and the cloth cover and they sent me a brand spanking new Carry-On with all new battery and all of the stuff it comes with now (adapters, etc). The replacement arrived within a few days, I hadn’t even unpacked from my trip yet.

I am very happy with Away. Since I bought my first one, I have bought two other Carry-Ons. For me, it was the quality I perceived and the battery that sold me but it is the customer service I experienced that prompted me to buy the other 2. Even when I had my original Carry-On retro-fitted for the change in TSA policy for the battery, they sent me a box and a shipping label, performed the work and had it back to me in plenty of time for my next trip. I would highly recommend Away suitcases and their customer service. I don’t usually give all the stars but Away definitely earns them all.

I highly suggest visiting Away before any of their competitors in the mall. You'll get unrivaled customer service and better quality luggage all at a fraction of the price. Keep it up.

Had such a great shopping experience when I popped in here to get some luggage. I was kind of on a budget and the sales associate worked with me on all options to meet a minimum spend. I ended up with a medium luggage, backpack and packing cubes. My frame is petite so sometimes backpacks can make me look like I have a turtle shell, so I'm always apprehensive but their older edition backpack that they still carried in store was small and fit me perfectly. I'm obsessed with it!! And it fits a ton of stuff so I'm a happy girl.

I had some trouble trying to find how to make a reservation online, but Away was able to take us as walk-ins. Quick service! The wait was a breeze because there's a bunch of shops around as well to look around

I enjoyed working with Tatiana at this location. She has a delightful personality, and is knowledgeable when needing to choose the right bag for you. I liked being able to handle and see the luggage in person. I plan to go in again whenever we're ready to buy more luggage.

I'm a Briggs & Riley person, but am always on the prowl for new travel gear. Saw an Away store in a nearby shopping area and decided to check it out. Well.........in the quest to be a road warrior minimalist, I purchased the Carry-On. Am in the midst of the Carry-On's inaugural trip, and all is well. The bag is well made and the spinner wheels navigate airport carpet seamlessly. The downside.........with the handle pipes on the inside of the bag instead of on the outside, packing space is reduced - on the plus side, this feature forces me to take less :-). In addition, I must now pay attention to the gate agents' admonitions to remove the lithium battery. Nether of which are deal breakers. Would recommend.

The customer service is phenomenal. My limited edition suitcase went flying down an escalator and was as damaged. I took it in for repairs and they offered to not only repair it, but they offered to exchange it. They definitely have my buy-in when it comes to ensuring reliability of their product.

Ordered my replacement pop up battery and since I was in the area for work, decided to drop in to see if I could get it changed on site. Mackenzie and Mina were friendly, customer service oriented and very helpful. Not only was I able to get my battery changed out, but it was brought to my attention my current bag needed its compression straps reglued. I was buying another bag so we were able to switch them out and get my current one worked on. All three ladies, Mackenzie, Mina and Sidney were great! Love my bags and the store!

The store is beautiful and well organized. The salesperson was friendly, knowledgeable and super efficient. I got what I needed in record time. Will travel in June and look forward to using my two new luggage purchases.

I learned that there has been an Away store in Austin this whole time and so I had to swing by and check it out! When we (my parents and I) walked in we could see that they were quite busy and it was very loud inside but it was understandable due to the fact that it was a weekend. Nonetheless, we were still promptly greeted and acknowledged by a sales associate who's name I got to learn was Ivy and she stated that someone will be with us soon. I could see that every person was busy with a couple of customers including she so I had no problem waiting. Ironic because the person who ended up helping my parents and I was her! She was very patient, sweet, knowledgeable and personable. We were probably in there for a good 30-45 minutes (or longer) but never once did she frown or make a face nor rushed us even with more and more customers entering the store (still did a great job continuing to greet each person). She pulled down all the colors/sizes that we wanted to see/touch and honestly did it with a smile, even when she was putting back up the bags. She knew that we were only wanting to get a feel of the products but continued with the great customer service as if we were, purchasing. She explained everything about the brand, trial, warranty, selections in a non pushy, sales-y manner which I really appreciate because I didn't feel any pressure to make any bold decisions. Although if I did buy, I would've probably bought everything she showed me (in the all the colors! lol). Honestly someone give this girl a raise!!! She did a great job assisting us for the day and I can't thank you enough for giving us that wonderful customer experience Ivy! Definitely one of the best sales associate by far. I will definitely be back when I have a trip and purchase from you. Cheers!

Visiting the area and excited to be able to pop into a brick and mortar store to check out the luggage. Mary Y was super friendly, helpful, and knowledgable without being sales-y. She was gracious in taking down and explaining anything I wanted to see and offering her personal experience with the pieces she owns. Great customer service!
