Walmart Neighborhood Market

I was very impressed with the variety of products and the amount of discounts, the produce was very fresh and the variety of meat and fish was exceptional Their wine selection was modest but their beer selection was great, the best part was the check out , no waiting and the employees were awesome too.

Honestly the best Walmart I’ve ever been too. Friendly, employees ask if you need help and say hi in aisle and multiple say thank you and bye as you leave. Rare experience these days!

If you ever see this sweet lady Maria the store manager running around just stop her and say hi

My favorite Market store. Every employee welcomes you with a smile and everyone is ready to assist. Produce is always fresh and every aisle is clean and well kept.Management is always interacting with customers and that is the reason I am always delighted to return.
February 17 2021 Winter blast update. I thank each of the employees and Management for putting their own safety at risk to provide much needed food and essentials to thousands of customers. If they had not opened I would have not been able to give my kids milk. Thank you MOD Laura for always helping customers. This store deserves a raise!

Great convenient store without the corner store mark up! Great everything from meat, propane exchange, gas,, beer, wine,bill pay and more! Lines are slightly longer between 5p-7p

I love the size of this store. Not overwhelming like HEB or the full size Walmart. Great for a quick grocery trip.

**Updated review...Still love this store after visiting regularly for nearly four years. If you choose to shop at lunchtime during the day, be prepared for a lot of teenagers to be in the store due to a high school being across the street. It's never been a problem for me though.

My only complaint is that at the times I visit, there is rarely someone working at the deli. I almost always have to find someone to help me.

This is a great neighborhood store! The only con is that it gets very busy, but the staff are always courteous and friendly.

My card was over charged about $70 when I went there around 10:30am .
I called the store (one Manager was out sick and the other was out of town) .
Karen said she’d do her best to investigate... within 15min she called me back and we cleared the issue.
THAT IS CUSTOMER SERVICE!
Most people at this location are awesome… Some of the kids are a little in the mindset of they don’t really care about their job obviously, I say to that find a different job.… But it’s people like Karen that make me want to continue being a patron of/shopping at this location.

Enjoy great place to get in and out quickly and has good selection of various items. Lots of necessities available. Clean and friendly knowledgeable employees if you have questions. Sometimes lately out of a lot of products but understandably with today's challenges weather and covid19.

I didn't catch the name of the lady greeting at this location, but she was helpful and friendly. I was looking for pomegranate seeds in prepackaged cups, and while the website says they were in stock, upon arrival they were no longer there. The point though, is that the lady walked me around to the various locations it might be located and even called to the back to see if any were in stock. Even though there weren't any, I really did appreciate her help. Great job!

No crowd, I was able to get in and out quickly. The person handing out angel food cake samples was friendly. Also when I was checking out at the self check out the Wal-Mart associate helped me to ring in 20 cans of cat food without scanning them one by one. I didn't even ask her to do that it was very nice.

Pretty nice little option for getting your essentials, getting out, and getting home. It would be helpful if they had maybe one more check-out lane open at all times, though. Some of the customers struggle with the self check-out, and it slows down the whole system.

I was at the gas station here on Military across from Earl Warren and was treated with honesty and respect from an Employee named Nancy. I paid for gas in cash and did not count my money correctly. Nancy walked out of her booth to tell me there was more money than I thought. I thanked her for her honesty. She then responded so respectfully and acted as though it was just natural to care for people. A few minutes later I returned and tried to give her a couple gift cards to a local restaurant I manage however Nancy refused. She said she wasn’t allowed to accept...that it was against policy. Nancy is amazing. I wish the world was filled with this.

I've shopped at this Wal-Mart for over three years and it just seems to get better. Personnel like Ileana at the gas station, Karen in Customer service are excellent and go above and beyond expectations. I don't know how they can smile and greet you everyday with a smile on their face. I have yet to experience anything negative in the store. Talking to other neighbors I've found I'm not the only one impressed. Props to Ileana, Karen, Gabriel and Danny. You all deserve a raise!

Used IBOTTA App to order my first time pick up service from Walmart. Most things I wanted were available to purchase. No substitutions were made by Walmart, and nothing was missing. The service was friendly and professional. I even received a reusable Walmart bag with a few goodies in it while I waited for my groceries to be brought out. Will use this service again.
