Stillwater Ace Hardware

Was recommended to go here to get keys cut for my Toyota. They do excellent work at a super duper fair price. They also sell the chip keys, but you may be better off getting those online at the same place where you rent a programmer, since the chip has to be programmed to allow the key to start the car.
This Ace has an enormous selection of screws, bolts, n special hardware. I needed two special screws for kitchen cabinets - Menards had a whole box, which I did not want to pay for just to have it sit around collecting dust. Ace had just what I needed, and I only bought the number that I needed.

Great store. They care for their customers and treat them like family. I recently purchased a Stihl chainsaw and after 2 uses discovered a defective part. I called them, explained my issue, they assured me they would handle it. Before I even had time to bring it in they called me with a solution. When I did bring the saw in they fixed it in a matter of minutes and had me back up and running. A fine example of customer service as it is intended to be! Dave and Sam are exceptional. Highly recommend!

Amazing customer service and friendly/helpful staff. The nicest young man helped me with loading all my mulch into my truck. He was polite and very nice. Wish I would have gotten his name so he could be recognized for being so helpful. Much much better than my experience at Lowes. Keep up the good work Ace Hardware!!!

Stillwater Ace came through when things went awry. After recently buying a Stihl pole-chainsaw and discovering it didn't work, Stillwater Ace Hardware's customer service made good in fixing the issue with professionalism and care. Thank you, Dave.

And they did this all when I was going through a personally difficult time. I will definitely shop here again based on this service. (Although I'll think twice when getting a Stihl battery-powered tool—there is NO way it should have broken like that.)

Great local Hardware Store. Friendly, helpful staff. Made a key, didn't work, they remade it with a smile. Sure, some stuff is a little more expensive than Menard's, but who cares. You can actually FIND someone to help you get what you're after!

We absolutely love having a local hardware store and sometimes I feel like I take this for granted. Today I needed a sprinkler and I got great advice not only from the person on the floor, but also from the cashier. They recommended a sprinkler and it is so above and beyond what I would have picked. I am just so glad to have this little store and grateful for the people in the store.

Went for an online pickup today. It was ready promptly and I ended up buying some plants while there too. Gentleman who checked me out grabbed the rest of the items and brought them to my car without me having to ask. Great customer service. Clean store. Thanks again.

I love this store! Ace Hardware offers so many services at one place that's wonderfully convenient! Helpful, friendly, knowledgeable staff always around to assist. Polite, too. The store has a good quality variety of products which is part of the convenience of shopping there. Definitely a place to go to!

Ace always has what I need from big to small. Currently enjoying feeding birds with suet cakes I purchase here.

Jenni, these small retailers do not have the capacity to discount prices the way bigger stores do. They barely make a living the way it is. What they do offer you is knowledge that they freely give out to any inquiring person with a need, the average worker at the big box stores can not help you that way. They can tell you what isle something is in, but usually that's it. I would encourage you to continue keep patronizing that store, mostly because your shopping local that way

Dave is always so helpful and makes the task he helps with look so easy. I had a dead battery stuck in a gadget and he nimbly removed it, taught me about it and made sure I got the best deal on the replacement. And Kim, at the register, is always friendly, attentive and efficient.

Always been helpful when I go in. Reasonable prices. Like getting my keys copied there versus fancy (and expensive) self-automated machines at other big box hardware stores

I visited Ace Hardware in Stillwater looking for a variety of nuts and bolts that I could use for an activity in my classroom (I’m a teacher). I was completely expecting to purchase the items. I asked the associates for what I was looking for and they came back with a bucket of ‘extra’ pieces and gave them to me to use in my room. They would have recycled them anyway. As a teacher who uses my own money for class projects frequently-I greatly appreciated it!

I had been looking for a specific snowblower. The Ace website said it was in stock at multiple stores that didn't actually have it. These guys had many.

Gave me a primer on using it. Helped me get it in my vehicle. Very pleasant. Masked during Covid.

Would definitely go here again over the big box stores.

Fantastic customer service! Every time I go in there they either have the thing I'm looking for, or they figure out something that will work. The people that work there a very knowledgeable, and seem to genuinely want to help.

I really like Ace Hardware in Stillwater. It is a nice, clean store with a vast selection of all kinds of things. Customer service is good here. Employees have answered my questions and showed me where items are located when I've asked. Being an Ace Rewards member has benefits too. Be sure to enjoy the delicious free popcorn they have near the door. It's great! I highly recommend this Ace location.
