Kowalski's Markets

My go-to store for groceries. Kowalskis has a beautiful environment, incredible customer service and so many amazing products. Their deli has the most amazing soups, sushi and salads. It costs more than other places like Cub Foods but totally worth it, in my opinion.

The best place to buy high quality food, from basic stuff to deli, from all kinds of breads to pastries and cakes. The choice of breads, pies, pastries, cakes and cookies is amazing!!! And everything is fresh and delicious!!

Update: The vegan selection is back!

Good store overall, but they recently got rid of their vegan section and stopped carrying most of those products. Big disappointment.

I worked there for a short time before I was canned for insufficiency. Amazing selection of local products and meat selections. I’m Hispanic, and was extremely impressed at what they offered in that area. Top notch ingredients I use to make my own authentic recipes. I’ll miss my 20% employee discount being as I am a frequent shopper. Where a ‘store family’ goes, I have had better experiences, but overall the staff is welcoming and the products you get, although expensive, are worth the price.

One of the best grocery stores ever!! You can get everything. Gourmet food, quick bites, excellent cheese, gifts and it’s all well organized and easy to find. Love Kowalskis!

I just really love grocery shopping here, especially compared to the other options in Stillwater 😂 The lighting and care employees take with keeping the store clean and kept is appreciated. As well as the breadth of takeaway options!

Yesterday I had the nicest experience at the Kowalski’s store in Oak Park Heights. We were hosting a small dinner party and I came in for flowers and hors d'oeuvres.

In the floral department, at my suggestion, the pleasant and friendly florist kindly added a bit of flourish to the arrangement I had chosen and was happy to do so.

The nice clerk in the specialty cheeses happily took the time to suggest a few items that would pair nicely with what I had planned to serve for appetizers. A guest actually today called to inquire about the great cheese choices I/we had made.

At checkout I was greeted by the cashier and had a delightful and fun conversation with the gentleman who bagged my purchases. He had the most wonderful, dry, and amazing sense of humor. We chatted on the way out to my car with the groceries and I smiled all the way home.

I forgot how much I love to shop at this store. Spacious, clean and a wide variety of food options. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Awesome turkey meatloaf. I love anything "mini" and I found the smallest wire whisk (it is actually a key chain) for like $2. Cutest thing I've ever seen. I also bought a thermometer for meat, veg, oven, and grill... So Kowalski's has a great variety of well almost anything you need.

Kowalski's is by far my favorite place to grocery shop in Stillwater! The quality of the foods is first rate and has no equal.. The service is always friendly and helpful. Fruits, meats and vegetables are always fresh. They offer an amazing array of freshly made baked goods, including specialty pastries you won't find anyplace else. This particular Kowalski's has a Starbucks, conveniently located near the entrance. They also offer a variety of hot meals to eat in or take out. A trip to Kowalski's is a pleasant shopping experience, not a chore to check off a list.

I go to kowalskis and study in there cafe. They have a good selection of healthy and unhealthy foods, and a starbucks inside as well. I am here often, and I recomend there cafe to students nearby.

I’m a big fan of Kowalskis period but I have to say I think this store is the cleanest and is laid out in a very intentional way. I love it, we’re moving from Shoreview to Lake Elmo/Stillwater and I very much look forward to being a frequent customer!
