AAA Freight Salvage Groceries

If you need to buy food or anything for a big group or even if you are short on cash, this is your spot. They have quality products at half the cost. They have frozen foods, meats of all cuts, dry goods, bulk items, restaurant quality products, cleaning supplies, pet care and food, and much more. I was able to find a quality baking product for half the price and the box was slightly damaged, hence the reason for the markdown. It’s a small space but you are bound to find what you need. They also have gloves, aprons, hairnets, sanitizer, and anything else you may need to work in a kitchen safely. The customers and staff are very friendly. While waiting in line, we all started discussing the cost of brisket and how to cook it because the gentleman in front of me had a nice cut of brisket he was going to smoke for himself and his son. I will definitely be making more trips to this location. It’s not an extravagant looking location but it is quality.

Great little market with nice workers. Always find different items for reasonable price. They post regularly on their Facebook page and worth checking.

Amazing prices, some stuff close to expiration dates but thats never a problem for my house of 7 nothing last long. Dont even shop at walmart or heb anymore. My freezer is always full and always some amazing snacks for kids.

Best place to get groceries nowadays. You can get everything you need that you'd usually get at other stores but a ton more affordable. $200+ of groceries for like $75

I just found out about this place a few days ago. Lots of meat in bulk, restaurant quantity items and discounted or discontinued groceries items. I lost count of how many freezers they had full of different types of frozen meats and vegetables. The staff is kind and very helpful - an example for any business dealing with the public. Like some have said, pay attention on the expiration dates. First of all, do a little research on what expiration and best by date mean for different types of product. Not everything goes "bad" magically on "x" date! Bought boneless, skinless chicken breasts and cereal (paid $2.95). Will definitely go back!

This place isn't pretty but the quality of the food, warm service, and AFFORDABILITY is off the charts. I've been coming here for 10 + years and never been disappointed. Despite no longer living in the neighborhood, our family gladly makes the long drive to shop here. Alan and his staff are amazing. So worth it!

Good prices, great service

These guys have been around a long time. I wish I'd known. They have some great prices. What they offer depends on what they can get a hold of. The times I have been there they had institution size canned goods, and restaurant size ingredients, mixes and spices. They had chicken and pork and beef as well. They had some damaged boxes of cereal and some discontinued snack products. With the apps that are around today you can make sure that what you are buying is a bargain. The staff was friendly and personable. Particularly if you have a large home chest freezer you can save a lot of money on the larger servings they offer by freezing them for later. You might even find some more exotic items at prices that allow you to taste the good life.

So, I have been to this place several times. There are definitely some great deals to be found here. Buyer beware, however. Right in the name of the store, you will see that this is a salvage grocery. Think to yourself, "What could they possibly mean by that?" In the world of groceries, this typically means past the "best if used by" date. But, as I am sure you will agree, that date is very conservative. So, yes, I have purchased items such as these and ingested them and not had any ssues whatsoever. Also, pay attention! As with any discount store, not all great deals are actually that great a deal. Of course, since I don't just blindly purchase whatever they are offering, this is never a concern of mine. So with allof that being said, the biggest thing that stands out to me when I go there, is that the peole that work there are personable, friendly, and quick to offer assistance where needed. Huge diference from the big box supercenter marts where you cant find an employee for nothing if your life depended on it! Its refreshing to say the least.

I absolutely love this place. The savings are amazing and the variety is incredible. You can pretty much find any kind of protein. Stop buying small packs of cheese and sauce at HEB and buy in bulk for the same price as one of those small units/packages. Ill say it again I LOVE AAA! Thank you for making me and my belly happy! You make so many people happy and I hope you know that.

Great place to buy food for a large family. Prices on food here are truly discounted. From meats to vegetables to breads and dessert. Product changes constantly. If you like a product here get it while it's there cause new product will replace it. Awesome owner. Always helpful.
