First time here had to pee this safeway is huge and beautiful it has everything 😍 ❤ I'm glad I stopped bye I even stopped at there gas station beautiful area lots to do

Safeway Gas station was closed which was fine since I got there after hour. However, pumps were operational. Gas station was clean with very wide space to drive and pumped gas without any difficulties. Even as late as it was, was impressed with the cleanliness and service.
It's excellent!

Safeway is my preferred supermarket and the savings with the app are great.

This Safeway deserves special recognition. I had an issue with a clipped coupon on the app at self checkout, and the woman that helped me was a role model for good customer service.

Wow, what an amazing, safe way. It's so big and well stocked. It has many items my local safeway doesn't carry. I would definitely shop here again. I love safeway, my only problem is I want to buy so much stuff and everything is so expensive.

Wow! I have been shopping at this Safeway location (Bernal/Pleasanton) for 10+ years and it’s okay (nothing special) but today I had the best service any person could ask for. The checker’s name was Bryce. I normally just use the kiosk these days as most of the checkers are so slow and I end up bagging my own groceries anyway. But because I had a bottle of wine included in my groceries I went through a normal checkout lane. Bryce was so friendly and so fast and he bagged all my groceries - I still can’t believe it. I told him how grateful I was and what a great work ethic he had! Anywho I am writing this here because on my way out I spoke to a manager (a petite young dark haired lady) who seemed less than enthusiastic about me complimenting this young man. Advice to the manager, read up on the concept of servant leadership. You have serious skill gap!!!!

One of the nicer Safeways in the Tri-Valley area. The store is large, typically well stocked, and clean. I have never had difficulty finding parking. Great access to 680. Sometimes they do need more cashiers, though.

I live in castro Valley and work near this safeway. When i have time, i would shop here before going home , they Always are stocked, well organized, and have everything on the ads.

The new remodel of the Santa Rita store is amazing. I used to detest going to this location because I would leave smelling like fried food. Now, not so. It's refreshing and more spacious.

Well stocked and friendly associates. Great ventilation system, I don't leave the store smelling like cooked food. Something very important especially during Covid.

Noise Level: 5/5 (light music, but usually quiet when it's not very busy.
Staff Friendliness: 5/5 (staff always have a good chat with me)
Food quality: 5/5 (high quality local produce with both organic and non-organic options)

Comments: I really love their growing selection of vegetarian meats and tofu options such as smart dogs, impossible burgers, etc. They have really expanded this section over the last couple of years.

I live in Tracy but will drive a distance to this Safeway!!! The Best Employee's Ever!!!!! I don't think employee's sounds like the correct word more like such good friends, everyone is so friendly!! Very caring, cheerful, always helpful, the store is very clean, the quality is excellent!! Wouldn't go to any other Safeway, this one is by far the Best!!! 👍🏻😁👍🏻

I believe this Safeway employs some disabled people as cashiers. I am very happy to see businesses do that and be more inclusive. This Safeway is very well stocked and clean. Very nice store.

I love this Safeway. It is clean and has parking and it's easily accessible. They have a lot of produce and healthy food options that are fresh. The wine selection is large. This Safeway also has a cafe that has great food. Definitely my favorite grocery store in Pleasanton with affordable prices.

Almost perfect they had all but 1 thing I was looking for. To be fair the 1 item I have not found at any store in the past 6 months.

This safeway is fairly new. Its really nice inside and always clean. I luv going here. Its a little further away from my house, but definitely worth the trip. They also have safeway gas here which is the best price in town of course, being that the closest costco gas is in Livermore.

Stuck in major traffic all the way from San Jose, I pulled into this Safeway for a restroom stop. Clean and easy. They pulled through. Since I stopped, figured I would buy a few drinks and snacks for the rest of my trip into the valley. Thanks Safeway.
