Lucky

Wow what a surprise. Most Lucky's are kind of lower end stores. Not this one. Selection is fantastic and they have an impressive selection of food ready to eat for lunch. They have a special beer section that is a whole walk in refrigerated area with craft beers. A huge wine area, not the usual supermarket stuff. They even have delicacies like Panettone that is a beloved northern Italian Christmas cake. You can have your new your strip or prime rib dry aged to your specification (I believe 28 to 60 days) for a price that, after all, is very competitive. I was really impressed and any time I'm in Pleasanton I'll make sure to visit this place.
The only problem is that... All of the above higher end experience is somewhat ruined by the ugly looking cracked concrete floors. Surely there must be a process during polishing where they can fix them instead of showing all the cracks? Incredible.

The deli at this Lucky location is the best.
My favorite is the barbecue station. The smoked chicken is da bomb! Perfect taste and the breast is moist and fully cooked; loaded with good flavor. The Southern style baked beans remind me of home.

An excellent place to get a variety of prepared healthy food ready to eat absolute delicious food with a nice patio with big screen to watch your spot too.
I strongly recommend it

Today was my first time using digital coupons, and I wasn’t familiar with the process. I selected several items on sale but, didn’t clip them. So, I was charged regular price at the register. Then I have to ask Wendy at the self check out, she patiently returned all the items that I purchased and clipped the sales items and rechecked them again. It a great experience and pleasant one.
Thank you Lucky for having such wonderful employees.

Nicest Lucky (grocery?) store I’ve ever been to. Cleaner and better stocked then nearly every other super market. The fresh food selections are amazing. Love the ramen bowls, but miss the salmon plate no longer available. My boys like to visit me at work to walk over for lunch. Very nice patio with big TV’s also make for good viewing special midday events like the world cup or Olympics. (Would have never imagined rating a grocery store—nice work Lucky’s!)

Spotless, great selection, well-staffed. Extraordinary offerings for ready-to-eat as well. I must say that this store bears tragically little similarity to other Lucky stores around the Bay, though.

Wow! I was so sad when they closed last yr during the pandemic. Not only is the location very convinient, the produce always fresh. And my absolute favorite, their deli! I was so excited to come in for the first time after the renovation. What a beautiful store, nice selection, well stocked, reasonable prices, and the food court with all those to go selections. I love this place! And their bakery makes flour tortillas, nice and warm to go. The bread is delicious. Everyone is very nice, I mean I seriously have absolutely no complaints! Check it out people!

Great food options available at this grocery store!!

I was so amazed when I stopped by here last week to get steaks. Not only is it nicely renovated, they added all sorts of super cool amenities. They make their own sushi and I tentatively tried some salmon sushi, 5 pieces for $8.95, and was surprised that it was actually decent, certainly much better than you would expect at a grocery store and better than some sushi places I've been to. They also make tortillas there which were good, not quite as good or as cheap as the tortilla shop in Cabo, but much more convenient and you don't need your passport.

The meat department was the best! They had excellent New York steaks this past weekend. I didn't try it, but apparently if you buy meat there, they will cook it for you. Someone said they have a wine bar too so I'll have to plan an outing with friends to Lucky's! The other impressive addition is a meat aging service. I don't know a ton about it, but the cuts are 15-20 pounds and right now are on sale for $20/pound and they age them for you for about 5-6 weeks.

Clean and organized and when it comes to pastries 🥮 delicious 🤤 just divine.I bought the strawberry shortcake and it’s delicious 🤤 I also love I can use my Apple Pay at self checkout

This new Luckys is like a whole foods crossed with a Safeway. Lots of hot made to order in store options. This spot is HUGE, the selection for in almost every section was fantastic. The cold beer selection is really nice as well with lots of local brews.

This is not your average grocery store - fantastic made-to-order meals counters just inside the front door...and a pretty damn good beer-on-tap bar just to the right.

Fruit & veggie selection better than average, insanely good soft drink/sports drinks selections with the body of the store...better than average cooked chicken pieces, too.

For me, the icing on the cake is the introduction of the "Stonefire" Naan dippers; about 20 to a tub, original and 'the works' flavors, and these are GREAT with Kraft's plain or flavored cream cheese(s). The Naan pieces can be oven-warmed, but are great at room temperature, measuring about 1/1.5" wide and about 2.5" long.

Looking for a new taster at that next party or bbq, be sure and give these a try...they're in the cracker section at Lucky !!

First, struck by the variety of fruit and vegetables, then all the foods to go from various courts. It will require several visits to find everything.

It seems to be very popular more so before the renovations. Parking lot was full.

My husband and I go once a week, everything is so fresh, check out is very fast. We have to drive 35 minutes to get to a decent luckys.

It has a nice upscale feel to the store now with a bar, outdoor eating area with TVs, food courts and a walk-in beer room.

Besides being a fantastic store with fresh foods and nice selection, they have an outdoor covered patio with huge tv for sports and dj out there spinning fun vibe, impressive!

Lucky is such a great neighborhood grocery store. The selection is great and the employees are so helpful.

I love this store; first time visit yesterday. Love the different kiosks set up with humans there to assist. Very nice appeal to shop and very friendly personnel. Good prices!

Well stocked, clean, and I must give a shout out to the Deli department. A Deli rep. Was stocking the food items and I asked him about something that was not on the shelf. He told me go do your shopping and I will make for you and bring it to you. What service, thank you.
