I just want to to give a shout to store employee Hector. I went their today, he was very pleasant, helpful and he was being a cashier and helping customers with self checkout when needed. He always had a smile on his face. He juggled both areas quickly and with professionalism. I hope you know what a valuable employee you have in him.

Nice experience! Super quite shopping at night. Loved it. Tried both the pistachio cakes and the muffins, I prefer the muffins tbh. Yummy!

Exceptional produce, deli and bakery. Extensive frozen and refrigerated items.

They have an excellent selection of Hispanic foods.

Beer and wine take a couple isles....

The location is convenient but the management company doesn't do anything to deter the seagulls and with this Lucky's being so close to the Monterey Bay the parking lot is filled with them and by late spring the parking lot and cars are extremely unsightly.

Back to the store... I've found the staff to be very helpful - especially in the produce area. The front staff keeps the line moving.

I love this Lucky's! They have friendly service and I feel like Lucky's always has what I need. It's a classic grocery store layout/style. It's well lit. They are usually well staffed, on busy hours it feels like it can get a bit hectic for them though.
I feel like the shelves are always well stocked and mostly organized. I like that they don't seem to stock shelves when people are shopping - I often go to Safeway on my breaks because it's close, and they constantly have people with carts and larger industrial carts stocking things and standing in the way..
I like Lucky's rewards program and their sales are decent and frequent enough to keep me interested. I very much enjoy their store coupons, it definitely keeps me coming back.

One of the best grocery store's in Seaside/Sand City if I can say so myself, and I think I can.... LoL lol LoL

Employees are always really nice. Donuts are good. As with all grocery stores some things are cheap while others are more expensive than other places. Decent meat sales from time to time.

My only complaint is, you have to really watch for expired and almost expired,(as in next day or 2) when it comes to purchasing their Yogurts & packaged lunch meats. Other than that; it's always a pleasant experience to shop there and their employees are always upbeat and more than willing to help in any way they can. 🤗 Hugs to all of you at Luckys...

I went to store for Dreyers ice cream that was on sale. You had all flavors but mocha almond fudge. So I asked a friend who works there, Pam. I told her both stores out even Pacific Grove store of that flavor. She asked a coworker to check the back room. Luckily there was a pack of 6 so I bought all 6 at 2 for 6. That’s great service. Now I still say the Sand City store needs a remodeling job it looks like a Costco. It needs a warmer feeling like the Pacific Grove store has

Lucky's in Sand City has a wonderful staff. Especially the women that works the register early in the mornings. She always asks how I'm doing. How's my mother. Is she visiting soon...Also not only does she give excellent customer service she EXCELS at her job. There's nothing she doesn't know about products Lucky's offers. Please give that women a big RAISE! !!!

Good they had so many options to pick from and so much flavors

Store has aged, but employees keep it fresh. I can't say enough about early morning employees such as Lisa. Always remembers me, always rubber bands my eggs, and puts my meat in plastic bags for me.

While the store is old (used to be an Albertsons I believe) I hear that they are updating this store sometime in 2019. The prices are better than Safeway/Vons on highway 218 for every day shopping.

It's basically your every day grocery store, shop on good days and get a good price, shop on bad days and pay the price.

They often have the 5 for $5 deal, so you buy meat at $5.00 each and have to buy 5 items for a total of $25.00 Usually this saves you $5 to $10 depending on what you find. You can often find some meats that are $8.00 for the $5.00 as long as you purchase 5 items that are offered under the 5 for $5. Not a terrible deal as long as you need the 5 meat items, if you don't, then just buy what you need and skip the "deal".

This is a huge grocery store, not just in content, but square footage. There is SO MUCH empty floor space at this location, it's distracting. But otherwise, it has a vast variety of any food product you could imagine, and from the times I've been by there, it's rarely crowded, which is nice.

Great store, nice clean and good prices, bad thing is some employee don't deserve to work for this great company, she completely forget the customer service.

I use to go through the drive through for a bucket of chicken, or grease. I was told about the fried chicken from lucky and gave it a try. The chicken is by far the best I have ever had, sorry mom.

This one of my favorite grocery stores in the area because it's rarely crowded, the prices are competitive, and the staff is always friendly. The only reason I don't shop there more is because the lack of curbside pickup.

This store is my go to place. they have the best prices for all my family needs. Their employees are top notch!!
