Total Wine & More

Well... it's huge! I think prices are pretty reasonable. Perhaps by design, it's easy to get lost, but I found more than what I was looking for. I think it would be cheeky, helpful, and inspired if there was a map of the store.

Came in today to check it out and I am glad that I did. They have a great selection of beer! My cashier was very friendly and helped me save a few bucks on my purchase. Will definitely come back!

I love this Total Wine, not only do they have a great selection, but they have knowledgeable staff who *actually* make great recommendations, which isn’t always the case when it comes to wine stores.

However, I’m writing a review to talk about the fantastic customer service experience I just had. When the box the store gave me to carry out my wines broke, shattering one of my more expensive bottles, they immediately replaced it and made me whole. They didn’t have to, they could have claimed it my fault, or that boxes are given as a courtesy but they aren’t liable, etc. but they didn’t. I really appreciated the customer service and I just had to say how happy I am. I won’t buy my wines anywhere else.

They have a great selection of all alcohols, not just wine. Lovely selection of foreign and domestic wines too.

Great store for wine and spirits. So many choices, you can spend hours looking. They have wine tasting every Friday and Saturday, sometimes other days of the week also. Give you a chance to pick a new wine that you taste and like.

The times I’ve come in Nel has helped me numerous times and has gone over the top with her great customer service.

Google didn't tell me which store I was reviewing the Sand City store was amazing they're very helpful very nice positive great people and what better place than in Sand City it's amazing

Great selection for everyday finds.

What a great place! Brand new store. The store was fully stocked, clean and orderly. Great wine brands that you recognize and even some from boutique wineries. What a great experience. . We were treated by a quick tasting and the best people waited on us.
We were so happy to work with the most delightful person. Melissa! She was knowledgeable and resourceful. If she didn’t have the answer to our questions she went and found out immediately. Thank you, Melissa.
Total Wine? Totally impressed.

As a beer guy I enjoyed their beer selection. I particularly like that customers can buy a single can/bottle instead of buying a sixpack or a four pack. That way I can taste many new beers without tossing all of them if I don't like that particular beer. Beside that, they have excellent prices and a huge selection of beers. For instance they have the same price for Sculpin and other beers as Costco.

I'm so happy we finally have a Total Wine! The prices are very good, the selection is huge, and the customer service is outstanding. One employee in particular, Melissa, was super helpful. She really went above and beyond. Melissa found a couple of wines we were looking for and pointed us towards the 6 bottle promotion. 5 stars!

Great addition to the area with a very wide selection of products. For the whiskey fanatics they do get allocation and it goes to the shelf, what you see is what's in... Be sure to check for their single barrels as well, haven't had a bad one yet.

I’ve been in there a few times over the last couple of weeks and have had no issues. The store is well stocked, I’ve always had multiple employees ask if I need assistance, and have never been treated poorly. A lot of these “1 star reviews” seem to be from one incident that sounds very one sided and not worthy of an attempt to ruin a companies reviews. Unfortunate display of entitlement. But, thanks Total Wine Sand City, I’ll continue to be a patron of your store!

Great selection of all kinds of wine, beer, booze and more. I've only been to this location and one in San Jose. Like BevMo but nicer shop. The reason it's five and not four stars (I feel hard pressed to ever give a chain store 5) is the fact that the staff have been consistently fantastic the several times I've been here.

Love Total Wine! So glad there’s one here in Monterey so we don’t have to go all the way to San Jose! This location is nice. Large selection of local CA wines, good assortment of tequilas. Yes…..they ID you. It’s a place that serves alcohol, they have a tasting bar in the middle of the store. Not a big deal, don’t bring your underage buddies in if you’re trying to buy alcohol, any reputable business will ID you and your party.
