This is a great market! I shop here daily and the employees are so kind. The women who work in the bakery do a great job and work so hard. Roxy is a doll and very helpful.

Since moving to Arizona, Safeway is probably my favorite grocery store to shop at. Friendly staff to every store I’ve went to and the stores are always well organized and very clean.

Always friendly, typically not too crowded. Decent selection (it is not a large store). Starbucks inside.

This is a great local store! The selection is good, the produce is always very fresh. The bakery sells nice, fresh items and so does the Deli. They have $5 Fridays where some items are only $5. They have always been excellent about curbside pickups, the mobile app is easy to use and functions well. I know some say that safeway is expensive, but I have found that they often have the better deal on the exact same options.

They have the worlds best cake decorators. Beautiful and Delicious and for a great price! I had my baby shower this weekend for my first son (after having three daughters) and they made the most adorable cake that made my day unforgettable ❤

Top notch customer service! Right at the start of the pandemic they were the first to adopt policies to protect staff and customers long before government mandates. Carts were sanitized, masks required, alternating one-way aisles, and social distancing at checkout. Pandemic or not, the staff are the best you'll find anywhere; friendly and helpful. I can't really comment on the prices as I tend to shop more based on service, and the service is fantastic. +1 would recommend to anyone.

Its a good sized Safeway, and while the staff are friendly, they aren't always readily available. Store is clean and well laid out. Decent selection of products, great floral department, and reasonably good sized bakery. I like that right up by the door they have a selection of prepared foods and a Starbucks - its nice that those are easy access, kudos to whomever thought of that!

I don't like shopping usually, but it's great to be doing my business here! The employees are very nice. It's clean and is set up very well! It blends in with the atmosphere amazingly, you can get what you want with no hassle. Great addition to the foothills!

Safeway is my favorite grocery store for an excellent selection hand-cut Meats. The shopping experience is also more enjoyable with less shoppers. Prices are a little bit higher but worth it if you know what to expect.

Went to pharmacy, Melissa is the best. Two immunizations and did not feel the shots. Removing the bandaids was another story. Pharmacy is always great.
Did some shopping, store staff friendly and courteous.

Deli was on point today with their signature sandwiches, trust me a regular size is plenty of food for lunch. Today I give 5 stars but it really just matters who is behind the counter. They have had some off days.

As a supermarket the history of Safeway goes back to 1915 but today they are one of the largest food and drug retailers in North America based on sale. The stores are open from 5 am to 12 am and the pharmacy from 9 am to 8 pm. The services of the pharmacy include blood pressure monitoring, DM consultation and medication review and delivery. They also have same day and rush grocery delivery. At present there are 896 Safeway locations in the U.S. of which 106 are in Arizona.

A great supermarket with useful services on the side.

Neighborhood grocery, well stocked, and staff are pleasant. Management knows how to keep the registers staffed to keep lines to a minimum. Great selection of craft beers.

Remember a time when this place was ABCO? Probably not.
Pros: it's a grocery store, it was my first job ever (2004, $6.50 an hour), great floral department, and always clean.
Cons: More expensive for the same products
In conclusion it's the only market in the foothills however it doesn't slack because it is.
