Carolina Crafted

My coworker and I stopped in after our local bank partner told us about this unique shop that offered candles, bath products, and ice cream among other sweet treats! The shop owners were so nice to chat with and I am now in love with their hand crafted candles. We also couldn't leave without a few cookies in hand (which my children loved). I highly recommend stopping in the next time you are in downtown Hickory.

WOW!!!!!! My daughter and I just had our minds BLOWN away by the staff and desserts that we just happily inhaled!!!! The cake cone icecream with Cookies & Cream was delightful, everything you’d expect from a 5star ice cream shoppe. But the Jewel of the shoppe is the Fruity Pebbles Milk shake that they had, looked so enticing- we had to try……
After a few seconds of sampling this delicious treat, we were instantly in love!!!!!

I got a scoop of the chocolate chip cookie dough- it was delicious! My kids got a scoop of ice cream and they said it was very good. They had a bunch of candies to choose from and my kids got a few things. Very friendly, quick service from Anthony. Lovely place to stop at while in Hickory.

Perfect little place on Union Square! Their ice cream selection provides something for everyone and their candles are the very best! They have some fun extras such as popcorn, cotton candy and vintage candy at the counter. The employees provide excellent customer service. Our go to for dessert after dinner out!

We happened to visit Carolina Crafted on a day it was closed. The owner overheard us talking about ice cream and then volunteered to open his shop on his day off. Such a sweet and kind gesture, our kiddos as well as my sister in law and I were beyond grateful. Hands down the best ice cream! I will make this shop a permanent stop each time I come to town!

Was greeted as soon as I walked in! (Even though they were pretty busy)..the scent bombs all smell amazing! And too top it off the Ice cream was soo good!!

The candles in this store not only smell amazing and burn for days but the price is unbeatable! The owners are always so nice and helpful! The store is always kept clean, organized and stocked! I love how they carry other products like bath bombs, soaps, wooden signs and even pop sockets! Highly recommend this store!

One of my favorite small businesses in Hickory! Has the best house made candles/soaps/hand sanitizer. The products are amazing quality for very affordable prices. Anthony is super friendly and eager to help with any request. I have tried several different scents and products and I have yet to find anything that I don't like. They also carry delicious ice cream and edible cookie dough!!! Seriously, it is like a one stop shop whether you're looking for a gift for someone or treating yourself! If you're in downtown Hickory, you MUST stop in! You won't be disappointed! ❤

From the wide assortment of products to the outstanding customer service. I have chosen to stay a long term customer. I can’t begin to brag about the handcrafted assortment of products. The candles are made of such great quality, with many amazing different scents. I couldn’t imagine myself ever going back to Yankee Candle. This has become my one stop shop for my candle needs. Absolutely love this place. I would highly recommend checking them out!

I love this shop! They have great products and the man that works there is very nice. I was given a full tour of the shop and was told about all of the products. Prices are great and they carry my two favorites, goat milk soap and stress relief candles. So glad I found it!

Carolina Crafted Candle Co. has a large variety of locally made products of candles, hand sanitizers, soaps, and ice cream. They have mind-blowing scents for all their products. The customer service is excellent. If there is ever a time where they don't have a scent out on the floor, all you have to do is ask. They will make something up for you. We highly recommend Carolina Crafted and all their candles.

Large selection of handmade, local self-care items such as soaps and bath bombs as well as candles and wax melts. Wonderful scents and great prices. Owner was very pleasant. I look forward to trying out more products in the future.

What a nice little craft and soap store! Perfect for gifts. Big bonus they sell Blue Bell ice cream! Homemade waffle cones too. Can't wait to go back.

They have ice cream and are open until 8pm on Fridays and Saturdays! Plus lots of amazing candles, hand sanitizer and decor. Very nice place to have in downtown. Glad we stumbled across it!

Great place with a very friendly and helpful owner. I have always come out of this store satisfied with everything I have purchased. Very reasonable prices with a great variety of items! Check out the fruit loops candle scent, uncanny resemblance!
