Wayside Country Store

This historical store is jam packed with New England products from maple syrup to pottery. They have something for everyone and the wide pine floors and antique display cases make you feel like you are in an early American country store. The separate candy store wing has long rows of candy, toys and more as well as hand made chocolates and fudge. A great place to shop for that little something special. The ambiance alone is worth the trip!

Amazing. Awesome. Spent 2.5 hrs just looking & reading. Bought a bunch also. Awesome goodies for self as well as others goodies. Had so much fun just looking. This is in Marlboro Massachusetts. I live in NC & just visiting. Have to go buy another suitcase!! You gotta go!!

There are a lot of great nick nacks in the store and very friendly staff. The candy store next door had an incredible amount of candies and chocolates that you can lose time wandering around! Also, very friendly staff.

This place makes the best confections ever! Bought a box full of chocolates and they are out of this world. The cinnamon white chocolate toffees are the best candies I’ve ever tasted. I can’t wait to go back to MA to get more!!!

Really fantastic place for vacation-type shopping, lots of little gifts and cards, food stuff, general store stuff. Then the candy shop is huge with a massive selection. I think it's impossible to leave without buying something! It's part of a larger complex with a restaurant, a cake shop, a sewing shop, and more.

I've been going to this candy store since I was a kid and love bringing my children now. It's an occasional treat when we're in the area. They love to walk the counter and make their own bag of candy. Great selection and some hard to find candy, they have everything!
The country style gift store next door is great too! This is a great plaza, an asset to the area!

This store is frozen in time, with all the antiques, displays, and souvenirs. I will definitely come back for another visit.

Best place around. Grew up going here with my family my whole life. Parents got married at the church up the road. So much nostalgia

Great store had some really good stuff and if u want sour pickles this is the place you get to pick them out of a barrel best sour pickle u can get

The history in this little store is so cool. They have amazing candy selections. There are pre bagged candies or you can get different candies scooped by the pound. They have great options for handmade treats as well. Homemade jams and honey. It’s worth a stop in.

Great tourist shop. All sorts of interesting things. Unlike most tourist shops the prices are affordable and I was able to get so many gifts for my family

Such a cute store. Always fully stocked with all the best candy. A little expensive for sure but very cute. The scenery around the country store is such an incredible accent to the already beautiful structures and views. Very peaceful. There are also lots of trails that's can be accessed in close proximity. Definitely a nice thing to do with kids of all ages or alone. It's also not constantly busy and crowded either which is very nice.

Love this place all the candy you could possibly desire they have old fashion penny candy and they have homemade fudge and other chocolates. Delicious fruit wedges I could go on and on. I bought the pop gun for my son awesome quality

Definitely visit this quaint, wonderfully stocked, friendly, yummy store ! The staff is helpful. The candy is fresh and varied from old time favorites to current characters and figures. The store is divided, with candy on one side and unique gifts on the other. It is now a regular stop with my grandchildren. Note: no restrooms but they have a relationship with a neighboring restaurant 😊

This was a great candy store with a wide variety of traditional candy and candy from 30-40 years ago that if you're older you grew up with. Years ago it was a penny candy store today you could still pick and choose the candy that you want. They also have homemade fudge and specialty chocolates and Candy they also have lots of different gift items that you can buy and little toys I would highly recommend stopping in and visiting.

Cute little candy store with every kind of sweets you can imagine. I was able to find my daughter the wax sodas she constantly begs for. Very hard to find but this adorable place had them. Swing by and give this quaint establishment your business. You'll walk away smiling and with a mouth full of tasty treats.
