Love employee-owned Food City. Small but I can usually find the items I need. Excellent meats and produce. The people there are great.

It's a great place with good prices

Their meat department is amazing as well as decently priced as well as their deli!! Other grocery items and frozen foods can be a bit pricey, but the staff are amazing, polite, friendly, and very helpful.

Food City is without a doubt the pinnacle of human achievement. Any review that gives this store fewer than five stars is incomprehensible; I'd give it 12 stars if I could. Every experience I've had in Food City has been euphoric. The diversity of people employed by this breathtaking establishment is unprecedented. From the naive 16 year olds at the cash register to the deeply cynical (but profound) man in produce, to the stoically brilliant employees at the delicatessen counter, if you want to experience the breadth of humankind, this is the place to go.

Food City is a piece of old school Americana; it single-handedly restored my faith in donuts and humanity in general.

I love this store it's the best!! They carry a lot of variety and all so have stuff clean and in stock. And the prices are really great . Thrust me go there take time to look around you will stop going to the other stores I did. And the meats, and veggies are great everything is fresh.

Will take pix next time I go because the store is neat, well stocked and friendly staffing 😄 They also had my favorite Grandma's Cinnamon Cake 😃 which they stopped selling at Stop and Shop 😞

Friendly helpful employees, good deals on meat, lunch specials and the best store made cookies. Try the orange cranberry oatmeal cookies, you won't be disappointed.

Nice people, good prices

You’re not going to get Whole Foods atmosphere here, but you’re also not going to pay Whole Foods prices. The product and meat are fresh, the selection is very good, and the staff are so friendly and helpful. I love having Food City as a local, affordable alternative to the big names.

One of the best *affordable* local options in this area - supporters of ethical shopping should invest in this community asset. The variety of choices is great, lots of local/regional businesses sell products here. The staff is pleasant and super helpful if there is a product that isn't carried they are open to suggestions. Sometimes the deli isn't as well taken care of or responsive to customers as it should be... which could either be a staffing or training issue. Generally witness/hear reports of good sanitation. The produce here lasts a good while and I have never had to toss anything out within a day or so, an issue I have had at other groceries in the area.

The prices area good, meat is very good. The cashiers however are the best asset Food City has. What a great group of people. Always friendly, helpful. All the staff are a friendly lot. They make it a pleasure to ship at Food City.

Friendly staff excellent meats and deli at very reasonable prices. Some of the grocery items are a bit more costly than at larger stores but because of the close proximity to my home I think it balances out. In the last year or so they have made many small changes to include more locally sourced and organic foods. Overall for a smaller grocery store they are doing a great job!!

Always able to get what we're looking for

The people that work there are nice! The prices on meat are very good, not a big selection of fish. The produce and boxed stuff is a little pricey but they have sales all the time.

do a good job for our local hometown groceries and prices tend to be lower than their competition in the next town over.

Great variety of foods. Gluten free, organic, locally grown veggies, wild caught fish. Store specials. Small is good!

Personally I really love food city in turners falls. Everyone who works there is always courteous and helpful. Their produce is fresh and they carry more and more local food and products every week. They listen when customers ask them to carry certain products that they don't carry and never considered carrying before. I much prefer food city to stop and shop any day!!!

Employees owned and operated. Great place to shop, good prices and for vegans and vegetarians, you will find, lots of fresh-green foods.

This is not just another Super Market. The team is super friendly and you feel like you know everyone.

Food City has a courteous and friendly staff, always willing to help a shopper find items; with prices that are very reasonable; also the freshest meat anywhere locally. Plus it's employee owned. JL
