Just like all the other D. READES. Similar to and owned by WALGREENS, but more posh beauty products and higher prices whether in a tourist area of Manhattan or elsewhere. Still convenient if you need prescriptions, sundries, or home/office items as it's a chain pharmacy. Would cost less than a small private pharmacy.
Has an ATM. Has an escalator to get to downstairs aisles. Plenty of snacks and drinks.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS ESTABLISHMENT AS THEIR CURRENT MANAGEMENT AND MALE STAFF MEMBER WITH BRAIDS ENCOURAGE DISCRIMINATION.
I have had issues at this location as well as their other location up the block due to employee discrimination.
Call City Hall, Write to Your State Representatives in NY because evidently Duane Reade encourages this on going Discriminative behavior in August 2018.
GO ELSEWHERE BUT NOT HERE.
