Gelson's Manhattan Beach

Orange juice I buy regularly! Love the location , parking, the food already prepared. Help from staff when needed, love the pot pies -the turkey meatball spaghetti - way better experience than local trader joe parking they have a great frozen food variety but you still win hands down !

Great selection , nice sales and great staff.
Crystal is a great help when you want to select a special bottle of wine or spirits. Woody is an amazing butcher. Terry is always warm and welcoming. The staff is all A plus !

I distinctly remember how outgoing and friendly the staff at this particular Gelson's was last night. I used to shop at Century City but moved to the South Bay and the one in Manhattan Beach has the best layout and staff.

Nice friently workers, efficient and proficient cashiers, excellent variety of meats, seafood and fresh vegetables. I especially like the selection of olive oils and vinegars, including balsamic and the deli meatballs and other selections are excellent!

Easy parking, shopping, and courteous staff. The store is clean, never too crowded and even a great place to sit at the bar and have dinner - salads, sandwiches, sushi, etc.

One of the bottles of wine didn't have a price and the register wasn't taking the bar code. The staff got the manager and they quickly figured out the price. Nice customer service!

To be honest, when I visit this store it’s like seeing a bunch of friends! The staff is exceptional and I enjoy my special conversations with various people who work very hard for your company.

This was my second year buying a case of hatch green Chile peppers from Gelson’s. Your online purchase is super easy. Everyone in your Manhattan Beach store are very friendly and can’t help you enough. Love your store.

A person at the wine bar name Dennis. I was the only one there and he greeted me with such class. I told him I was waiting for some friends as we have a wine club and we were looking for a new place to have it on Friday late afternoons. After his great service and friendly bar person Jackie we found a new home. The wine was very good to almost great.
I should have called and let them know we had 7 people coming and Jackie was swapped.

The food bar! Eric at the breakfast bar and lunch section- just- WOW! He is very kind and professional and helpful in choosing and he didn't mind my asking how and what he was baking! The Viktor Benes Bakery is amazing. Princess cakes and bagels! The manager is great and understanding. When the dragonfruit is in-yum! They have a great selection. Seafood bar. Salad bar. Fresh juicing and smoothie bar too. Elmer. Eric. Nadine. And Lori. Are my fave people there. Knowledgeable and helpful! And They have Plant Based dessert and non-dairy dessert! 🍨 😃 best croissants in the bakery!

First visit. Was surprised by the great prices on brand name items with reasonable pricing on premium products. We brought home a variety of fruit, vitamins, salad bar, and odds and ends. Poki bar was second to Bristol Farms according to our in home sushi expert. Will be back!
