Very cozy place to chill
Not overcrowded, very cool to sit and eat daily made really fresh sandwiches. And coffee is really good. I got a cappuccino with almond milk and it's really good.
Not expensive, because everything is really good quality.
Thanx to the lady who gets orders. She is so positive and cool.

Cute little shop/market with great coffee. We ordered an Italian and a prosciutto with chicken sandwiches. Both were delicious and held up well when after a long beach walk. Coffee was great, owner and operator was very warm and kind.

The Green Store has it all! I especially love the deli. My favorite order is a custom veggie sandwich on a french baguette. Yum. My kiddos love the assortment of Harbo candies and ice creams.

When at Hermosa, do not miss this gem. This is more than a deli, here they make you breakfast or lunch with a smile. Skip the restaurants, choose a totally relaxt, unpretentious and intimate setting.

I love this place. It’s cute and cozy with a nice patio and delicious sandwiches that you can either eat here or take to the beach which is right next-door.

Excellent little corner sandwich spot. Sandwiches were generous, not skimpy and the baguette roll was delicious. Order at the register and even on a busy Saturday it only took about 15-20 minutes to get the food. Outdoor tables are perfect

We got to visit this store yesterday. The owner was absolutely precious and very helpful. We needed some ice for drinks we had purchased elsewhere. Instead of making us buy a whole bag, she willingly gave us enough for our drinks. She knew the locals by name and clearly cared for them. She even has a special friendship with a local westie named Molly.
She is such a hard worker and cares about community and her beautiful store. She will always have friends in Montana 💜 thank you for the hospitality and kindness!
Visit her! You won't regret it.

Small but cozy store with plenty of healthy and not so healthy options for breakfast. The pancakes are delicious and pretty generous.

This is one of my favourite places to get lunch, there is also a very nice selection of wine, and pretty much anything else you would expect to find in a European style grocery store. In my opinion the green store is one of those unique and special things that make Hermosa Beach such a great place to live!

It's been years since I came here, but boy am I glad we stopped by again. My husband and I walked over from the pier. I was getting tired and needed a pick-me-up and enjoyed all their ice cream, deli pasta, and drink selections! Store was clean, bright, and organized. The owner was very welcoming and friendly, and we savored our snacks on the walk back. I love the pesto salad and plan on coming back frequently for more!

food is good but you definitely pay for the convenience and proximity to the beach

Came here expecting a cannabis store, I mean what else could the "Green Store" sell? I was all ready to purchase a joint, go down to the beach, burn one down, and watch the waves roll in.

No cannabis here, unfortunately, but there is a lovely little deli selling beach sundries and delicious sandwiches and salads and beverages. The Reuben sandwich I ordered was so good that it made me completely forget why I was at the store in the first place. The other sandwiches looked equally appetizing.

The Green Store has some of the best sandwiches on the beach. My favorite is the chipotle wrap, but I've never been disappointed with anything here. The atmosphere is great and the tables outside are a wonderful for chilling and watching the world go by. There's an excellent selection of beer and wine, too.

This place is awesome. Great food/sandwiches. I’ve been coming here for a few weeks since I’m working in the area. The lady at the front (I think owner) is so sweet and pleasant to talk to. She has always been so friendly and great to deal with. I visited a few other local mini-marts and they were ALL rude. Not this place!!!! All the staff was very pleasant, quick, and accurate with my off menu orders. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a good sandwich. Also all their meats are from Boar’s Head so you know it’s legit.

What a gem! My wife and I moved to the neighborhood about six weeks ago, and have stopped in several times since then. Lana, the owner, has been really friendly and has gone out of her way to make us feel welcome — including picking up the particular brand of coconut water that my wife loves when it was out of stock everywhere else. Perfect place to stop by coming to or from the beach and one that has saved us from making a drive out to the chain stores on Sepulveda more than once. Plus, it exudes that beach town feel that makes Hermosa such a lovely place to live. We plan on being regulars!

This is such a great spot. The owner is super nice. The sandwiches are delicious and fresh. The overall selection of beverages, from kombucha to cold brew to beer, is also great. A bit pricey, but worth it for the location and awesome service.
