Beach Market

I love this market! Fully stocked, squeaky clean, lots of different alcohol selections. They have everything you could want, from limes, lemons, excellent wine bottle prices, and beer. Good prices, too! They even sell beach chairs!! The employees are friendly, funny, and helpful. Support your local Hermosa Beach market.

Beach Market is excellent, located right next to the beach and all the hotels, great selection of everything you could need, very fun place, clean and friendly. Good prices, too.

staff is very kind, yes a little suspicious of customers but totally normal for a small business. cant blame them. good selection of snacks and drinks, just overall great place to go if you need anything.

Has everything you need, even a parking lot for easy access. Has a great beer and hard seltzer selection and fresh in-house sandwiches.

Not really sure what’s with the low ratings. It’s your average everyday convenience store with some really cool drawings outside and some quick in and out parking. Only took to rating because of the murals. Glad they have stayed in tact though the years, and that the locals do not do any kind of "enhancing" of the artwork. They should have better deals and promotions here or at least more of them. #hermosabeach #wavescrashing

Only get my Gatorade and occasional ice bar. Nice owners and staff. Standard pricing. Just a nice spot.

The asian Lady running the place is really rude! Stand and talk outside but when it comes to serve customer nobody is available she will also make sure that you are a customer of the shop before you dare parking on one of the 15 min parking spots.
I hope she remenbers me because it's the last time I shop there.

This market charges $1 to use a credit card, which is illegal. Shady business practice to levy the credit card transaction fee on your customers. That is part of the cost of doing business.

Ive been coming here for years, its a min walk from my apt. There was an older asian lady working there and retired a few years ago. She was very nice and pleasant. Since the older lady reitred, the owner started working somedays. She is horrible. When I come in to buy lotto or anything I get this look from her where she is disgusted. This one time I bought my tickets she wouldnt hand it to me. As I reached out to take it from her hands she throws it as if I was filthy. Another time I won $100 from one of the tickets and she wouldn't cash it. I bought the ticket from their store too. I try to avoid coming here as much as possible now.

I went in there today to purchase a few things for a family barbecue and was met with a very unpleasant experience. I asked the Asian lady behind the counter (who I think may be the owner) for a bit of hand sanitizer and was met unexpectedly with "WHAT???" very brash and rudely as if I was asking for something crazy. I then repeated myself and she proceeded to WITHHOLD the sanitizer from me until I said "please", stating I wasn't entitled to it so I decided to not give her my business. She then muttered "whatever" as I was leaving. Just a terrible experience, and on top of that the place is unclean and not well organized. I will be avoiding the store from now on.

No prices displayed anywhere. When you pay no display to see what you're being charged. When you ask for receipt they give you a receipt with just total, no itemization. Used a credit card to pay she charged me a dollar fee. Shady establishment.
