Oberweis Ice Cream and Dairy Store

Ender Starr is such a fantastic employee, my ocd was bothering me as the quart display was askew. He jumped into action to fix the problem. He is also a generally great worker as well. Mat is pretty good too

First time I had a cake from oberweis I became a fan. It's actually cake and ice cream paired wel and taste great so while I visit my family in Volo decided to stop in for the first time.

Staff was wonderful. Jacob who was working, explained the products. I explained I was coming in from Indy and had a cooler with me just to take a cake back home with me. He was helpful and the staff were even kind enough to help me fill my cooler with ice so my delicious treat would stay chilled and frozen in my drive back to Indianapolis. Will stop here again.

Oberweis has delicious rich flavorful ice cream with a regular recipe rotation. Staff is helpful and they are flexible with tasting. Chessboards on tables help keep kids occupied and let everyone have fun.

What a lovely place.
Great atmosphere with lovely service. The cashier who helped us was very sweet.
She took care of all the order that was placed.
I will definitely visit it again soon.
The chocolate cake shake was delicious.

Best ice cream in the plant, no university. There no home like oberwise dairy. Mat with one T is the best host I have every experience.

Fabulous dairy products in glass bottles. Can't say enough good things about their ice cream, shakes, banana splits, etc... Sure wish there was one in Wentzville or Troy, Missouri.

The Icecream and shake I tried was delightful :-) . The tables has chess to play with your family and friends , it’s pretty cool

The best Milkshake I have evr had!! I NEVER JOKE ABOUT MILKSHAKES LOL. If you are a fan of caramel, you will not be disappointed ;) And I suggest the eggnog as well, it is simply divine! It's totally ok to indulge once in a while, treat yourself, after all its Christmas :))
The store is neat and clean, the only drawbacks are: they are understaffed at times so the wait might he a gew minutes. Also the products are a little pricey, but you always get what you pay for believe me.

We’ve been to many different oberweis locations but this one stood out. We received a wrong order, went in and the team immediately and happily fixed it. They went above and beyond and even gave us a “one on us” gift card to make up for the error which was very generous. Staff was friendly and the place was clean. Would come here again! Thank you to the team that worked!

I totally LOVEE this place. I got mint chocolate chip ice cream and omg it was sooo good!! Also I got a strawberry milkshake and it also was so good!! So this place deserves 5 stars. Good place frfr.

Great ice cream. Come here frequently for the milkshakes, and their brownie sundae. Service is always fast, and the staff are very friendly. Oberweis ice cream is definitely one of my favorites, and their chocolate peanut butter is cream is the best. Will definitely keep coming here as long as the service is good.

Just had the best experience here! I am 7 months pregnant (I don't look it though) and taking some nausea medication that makes me very sleepy. I walked here from where I work, which isn't far at all, because I was having trouble getting through the day due to drowsiness. Now, I didn't order ice cream... I ordered an Americana and paid in quarters 🙈 but the lady who helped me, Olivia, was extremely nice and didn't seem bothered at all by it like a lot of people would be. My coffee was ready in less than 2 minutes, which is super convenient. When I asked for cream afterwards she again was very polite, asked if I wanted suggest as well and even apologized for not leaving much room in the cup for cream (which was entirely my fault for not saying anything when I ordered). I'm sure she didn't know I was pregnant, as no one does when they first see me, and she wasn't aware of the day I was having and still I had great, fast service and meant a lot more to me than dealing with the average sale/order (I also work in sales).

Tasty food and good service; but, it used to be better. They used to have a better selection. They don't carry milk in quarts here anymore.

It's a great place to get some ice cream and chill. The place has been in town for a long time. The prices are reasonable. They also have a drive through. You can even sit and play chess while you eat.

*UPDATE*:
The manager of this location reached out and rectified the situation, and I received a replacement shake today when I went back. The employees knocked it out of the ball park and I received a perfect thick shake how they usually make them! Bumped from 3 stars to 5! Thank you!

I've always had great shakes made perfectly from this location for years, perfectly made thick shakes. We went thru drive thru today, and unfortunately I received an almost liquefied shake, didn't notice until we left the place and I took a sip out my shake, I couldn't believe it, but my partners shake was made perfectly thick like usual when I sipped his! I will give this place another try in the future, but if it happens again, I'm crossing this place off my go-to places for shakes, very disappointed! 3 stars only because they got my partners shake right.

Always a special time getting ice cream, a malt shake, or even milk. A little more expensive, because it's a lot better. I do miss the glassware and metalware for in-store orders, seems like it's plastic-only now.

It's such a wonderful place with helpful people working the store. The manager was particularly helpful (I couldn't make up my mind about something and she was so patient with me). And of course, the ice cream is the best. I went in to buy a cake ----dudnt know they had pies which were better for our purposes. Love them!
