Always has the author I'm looking for. Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. Always helpful. Will get books shipped to store from another, if they don't have it in stock

A nice little store with friendly and efficient staff. This location is *much* smaller than the one on Northwest Highway but still has features like selling your books and a children’s reading area. The prices they buy at are a little low.

I visit this place when I'm feeling down, and I feel better after walking down the isles and looking through the books. Unlike other stores they have never tried to make me buy something.
I have sold with them and they have always been very polite about what they don't accept.
This place brings a smile to my face even when I think about it.
I'm happy it exists!

Went to this location in Richardson for the very first time. Wow! They have everything!! Besides books & magazines, there's plenty of CDs, vinyl Lps, dvds, Blu-rays, and audio books. One can actually spend 5 hours shopping here! Pressed for time, I purchased 6 CDs. I'll come back for sure went I have more time. I also want to mention that the staff was very helpful and friendly! Forgot to mention that the prices are excellent!

This location has a very diverse selection of children workbooks for school. I stopped by there after work and found a lot of good material for my daughter to practice on. If you are around this area, I would definitely go and see what you could find.

I recently made a trip there to find used language textbooks for Mandarin Chinese and Brazilian Portuguese. I was not disappointed! Cheap affordable books on sale! Yes, extra sales on top of the discounted prices. I will be back! 😅

They are open now. (Yay!!!) I went in to find myself a book that i have been wanting to read. I do have the amazonian nook, but i really love having a hand held copy to read and then share. There is just something about having that real book in your hands that relaxes me. So, they have that book you want for 1/2 the retail price. The place is clean, well organized and friendly. There is a children's section for the little readers. I know... My little reader has a book app, but there is something so cute and novel with having the book in your hand. It feels like you actually bought something instead of using internet space. So, in these pics you will see the location, their interior, the childrens nook and store hours on the front door. They also sell records for record players. I didn't wait to check out. All in all i would buy from them again. The nostalgia is real. 💞

I really enjoyed my visit here , my girlfriend and I got a total of 5 books and the gentleman at the register was very helpful and polite ! Very generous selection and more than fair prices as well. Found some automotive related literature I was looking for.

Literally found my favorite place!!! You will probably get lost at first like I did. Just know what you want before you go and please don’t be like me. Just know what genre you want and you can find literally anything in a very reasonable price. By far the place was super quiet, and super pretty.

So helpful to be able to sell back old books, CDs, DVDs, and games! Lots of great stuff to buy as well!

I could spend hours here, there’s just so much to browse through! This is not a huge store but they have a good selection of used and new books, puzzles, games, gift items and more.

I liked this location. Great catalog of books and music.

I always tell myself I'm only going to get 1 or 2 books and end up walking out with several. Super fun!

The staff here is friendly & knowledge and I enjoy visiting just to browse. Even when I'm looking for a specific item and can't find it I can count on a staff member for help. They will check to see it's available at a different location or get it sent here for pick up.

This store is full of helpful folks - I also overheard someone, a fellow patron, saying to their accompanying book-lover they thought this was the best HFB they'd been to, including the flagship only a few miles away. It was a large and comprehensive temple to the book. We purchased a copy of "The Regulars," a 1996 title by Richard Bachman of which we'd not known. Its proximity to other places we plan to revisit will ensure future visits.

A Dallas based value priced bookstore with excellent selections, reader friendly layout and plenty of music and video selections.

Good bookstore with decent half-price sales. We sell our books back after a few years which slowly allows us to get new books. Overall no negatives. Our family always finds something to talk about. Good store location to drop in for a few minutes off the highway.

Half Price Books is a Dallas institution. This is the first location outside the main location on NW highway that I've visited. It's definitely smaller, but still lots of fun.

I was surprised by the number of board games available and the variety of comic books and used vinyl available. (don't worry there's lots of books too). Additionally, they had a farly extensive collection of used video games and peripherals- which was also cool to see.

Great place to have so close to Plano.

Staff was helpful in walking me over to the section of books that I needed and in offering to order a book that I was looking for. This is a smaller store than most, so selections are nice but understandably limited. They had lots of boxed games for sale the day that I went, and folks were coming into the store seemingly to sell the store more.
