Harbor Freight Tools

It seems this HF has the best selection in the area, I had to make a special trip here for a tool that was out of stock at the location closest to my house. Nice big store with excellent selection of tools. They seem to have the best selection of in stock items. Fast friendly staff here too.

My recent trip to Harbor Freight was seriously awesome. I mean, if you're into tools and gear, this place is a dream come true. They've got everything from basic hand tools to crazy advanced power gadgets, all spread out in a way that's easy to navigate. The staff was super chill and actually knew their stuff, which was a nice surprise. I had a blast chatting with them and getting recommendations for my projects.

But here's the kicker – the prices are insanely good. I felt like I hit the jackpot with the deals I snagged. And the best part? The stuff I got is actually holding up great. Usually, you'd think cheap tools mean low quality, but that's not the case here. I've been using their gear for a while now, and it's still going strong.

I also appreciated the checkout process. It was smooth sailing, and the folks at the counter were friendly. Plus, they've got this return policy that's pretty solid, so if anything goes sideways, you're covered.

All in all, if you're on the lookout for tools or just love wandering around hardware stores, Harbor Freight is the spot. It's like a playground for grown-ups who like to tinker and fix stuff. Definitely giving them two thumbs up!

I was greeted as I walked in the door, which I appreciated. I found a manager, sorry I forgot your name, at the front, which was one more point scored by them. I asked for the item, was directed to the aisle, and further helped in explaining the difference between the different kinds of garage lights (including the direction on the one I ended up buying). Keep up the good work and you will be in business for an unforeseeable time.

Great customer service, the tool at a good price better than in other stores and of great quality.

Harbor Freight is my "go to" for common hand tools or odds and ends in the shop. You don't need to spend an arm and a leg to get quality and their Icon tool brand works just as well as tools from the big box stores at a fraction of the price.

This is where I purchase all the chains and binders for ToolRent. They always have a good deal going. The chains and binders always seem to be pretty good quality. We have had a couple set for over a year now. This place is definitely always on our radar

What can you say, it was Harbor Freight Tools. It never changes store was nice well laid out clean.

Store had a great selection of tools, far better than neighboring Lowe’s. The prices were also far lower, in some cases, 50% lower.

I'm an avid HFT shopper and 99 percent of all my tools come from here. I love shopping here and the prices are just right for me. So my review of that is a 5 star and is​ reflected here. The customer service is close to a 5 also.

The only thing is the location is quite secluded. One can say it's off of a busy road (EB lane of Belt Line), but it's still kinda set inside a bit. I get it and it works for the community it serves, but it is also hard to see from the street and the picture I share of the front shows what you can see when you're close because of what obstructs the view. So I've been going more to the one in Rowlett because that one is off of a main thoroughfare and very easy for me to access. This Richardson one is closer to my work and I'd much rather go here before getting on the freeway to go home but alas, the location is too far out for me.

Nevertheless, it's still a great place for me but just know that you'll have to plan your route accordingly--if you don't live in Richardson :)

The staff at this location are very helpful. The store is kept well stocked and clean. I have shopped many different Harbor Freight locations, and this one rates right up at the top of them. The coupons and specials can save a lot of money. Most if the tools here are as good as any if you are like me and only use them now and then. I saved $100 On a 1200 # winch with a coupon from their circular.

Great selection, low prices, Knowles and friendly staff

I've been getting tools and things for the last 25 years. Always get the extended warranty for expensive items like power tools and machinery. Chinese equipment work fine but don't last long, that is part of the Chinese business model.

HFT tool quality has improved a lot, and their prices are still attractive. They have a surprisingly enormous selection of items, and some total surprises. You should go.

Great Staff . They don't act like Ninjas ( home Depot staff ) when they see your looking for something they offer to help you don't even have to ask , they know. That's how hope depot staff know when to hide. LOL
