Great store, good deals. Very convenient location right off the subway. Most of the bad reviews are because they jacked up prices on stuff during pandemic, which is terrible. But currently this store is a gem. Staff does rush a bit which is usually fine with me. Nice cheap snacks, good toiletries.

Pretty decent size store. Found everything I needed. Right near the bus stop and subway makes it convenient. Lots of choices

Huge place that has alot! Name brand items are about the same or slightly lower price as in Target/grocery stores. Also very convenient to the subway. I go there quite often.

While they have a wide selection at reasonable prices (not to mention a great deal on nitrile gloves) the customer service is horrible. I walked in with my friend looking for something and the worker in the aisles starts giving us an attitude "we're closing, we're closing".

She only needed a simple item. This individual could have taken the 2 minutes to provide assistance and then politely let us know they were closing soon.

All you have to do is "hi, can I help you find something? We're getting ready to close up"

If you want to close that very minute you should lock the door THEN start cleaning up etc.

Otherwise the customer has the right to enter. You can say "hi, we are closing up, is there anything I can help you with? "

The faster you serve the customer the faster they check out and you can close up.

But if you're rude and pushy then you not only lose sales but you lose future sales and no small business can afford that in this climate

We are locals to the area and have never faced issues prior. This afternoon my 18 y/o daughter was assaulted and harassed by an Asian worker who assumed she was stealing after she purchased her items. I understand from a business perspective to thwart theft (believe me I am also tired of theft and crime in New York). But to grab someone aggressively and accuse them of stealing based on preconceived notions (perhaps racism which is prevalent with Asian elders) is ABSURD. The situation was ONLY diffused after a worker behind the counter explained to the aggressive worker that the items questioned were purchased elsewhere. After causing a scene and realizing she was wrong, the worker offered NO APOLOGY (which is all we wanted). This unfortunate situation has COMPLETELY changed my perspective that I was once had.

You don’t treat customers in that manner, it’s not right.

This place is a rip off. You should be ashamed of yourself for charging $50 for a 15 oz hand sanitizer. Talk about taking advantage of a situation. You people are disgusting business owners a perfect example what's wrong with the world. On top of that the rubbing alcohol was open so obviously tampered with. You're supposed to be a discount store not a rip-off.

When the pandemic started they raised prices on items like hand sanitizers bleach and lysol and other items by 3 or 4 times the price it was. These people have no shame trying to rip off the public 👎

After using my debit card at this store, my card has been compromised according to the BofA bank representative. I wouldn't go there again. It has created a huge inconvenience as the bank has cancelled my debit card to reissue a new one.
