Love this store!. My partner and I love stopping by and saying hi while doing our shopping. The customer experience of both the Safeway and the built in Starbucks is really nice. To those who feel this store is/ was a bad experience, I implore you to shop at the one off of 122nd in Portland. That'll change your mind real quick, that experience was terrible. Security eyeballing you, giant windows boarded up because they had been shattered. I felt very unsafe there. This store in Troutdale is how a store should look and feel.

I was having a really hard day and went with my son to get groceries I was 10 bucks short and Brooke A paid for the rest made my whole week! I appreciate her so much never had met someone so nice before!

Everyone working there was working hard making sure the store was clean and comfy during the chilly holiday days and nights here

They were having some technical difficulties today (not anyone's fault) and Carmen who checked me out was AMAZING, so kind so thoughtful and outstanding customer service! That lady deserves a raise!

Best meat dept. in all of the Safeway franchises that we have visited. The manager behind the counter has always been extremely friendly and very accommodating...we go there often for meat and receive consistent quality and service...

Clean store, good selections, fresh produce. Nice selection of wines, including local ones. Be sure to use your Safeway app for better prices.

Nice and clean. Not to busy. Good customer service. Self checkout is quicker than the 1 or 2 checkers. Just like everyone else they need more checkers. Been shopping there 20+ years. Didn't change anything when converting from Albertsons to Safeway.

I wanted to make sure I did a shout out to the meat department. These guys were amazing. This was my third Safe Way today; the first one, they no longer had a meat grinder. So of course they could not help me and they gave me a recommendation. A store they knew had a grinder and could help me. The store i went to had the grinder yet would not grind the steak into hamburger.
Then, I came to this store and they were absolutely amazing. The first man was not sure so he went to the butcher to ask.
They were busy so I could tell they really didn't want to, but they were absolutely willing to do that for me. I wish I had their names to do a shout out. Because these guys deserve it being busy and helping a lady out. Thank you so very much gentlemen!!!!! I really appreciate you and hope they let you know how great you were!!!!

I shop here atleast 4 times PER WEEK! The staff is super friendly & helpful, Janet & Bliss are the best staff members in my opinion! My kiddos are obsessed with them and rush to hug them each shopping trip & talk about them all the time. Safeway feels like family. Everyone is very helpful & so much kindness from each employee! The store is clean, always stocked with plenty of every thing. They have the best sales!!!! I use my rewards and always have a dollar off gas from shopping there. I can't say enough about this specific Safeway!!

I found my new favorite pie! I stopped in at this location for some quick items and luckily ran across this little gem at the bakery. Delicious! My boyfriend and I will now be using Albertsons for our baked goods!

Safeways come a long way since taking over Albertsons. The store is very clean, the employees actually seem to like their jobs are are very helpful and friendly.
Produce is much fresher and affordable than FM, which is where I've shopped for years. Safeway is a strong contender
Their meat deals are really helpful to stay within my budget. The coupon deals are great also. I'll be stopping there first for groceries from now on.

Nami in the deli is a rockstar! She rocks!

Albertsons is a great place to shop for a variety of foods. From fresh fruit, to perfectly cut meats, you find everything you need. The lady's department is always stocked; other aisles like pet accessories, medicines, and much more readily available to you.

Wow I didn't know this store was here tucked back from the main road! Nice wide areas to shop, no clutter and very clean. Self checkout is easy and they have a great ready to eat Chinese food take out. Great variety of cleaning supplies too. Always stocked and not a bad price if you use your Safeway rewards card. 4 paws up and not busy every time I've been in there!

We came in to pick up some Keto flour tortillas. They had them but they were a buck more than anywhere else I've bought them. They had a small keto tortilla that I hadn't seen before so I bought them too for the same price about $6 a package.

Everything seemed to stocked and fresh.

The parking lot was clean and picked up. The baskets were rounded up and ready when we came into the store.

The staff was friendly.

Other than the price being higher, we feel like we can recommend this place.

Had the most remarkable experience with Albertsons and their staff. I was helping coordinate a surprise celebration for my mother for beating cancer for 5 years. Destiny in the floral department took on the challenge of making a stunning bouquet of flowers for the surprise. I was speechless — it looked like a $500 bouquet.

THEN... a manager / team member had overheard her project and the occasion and decided to pay for my bouquet because they had a family member who had survived breast cancer. I was totally moved to tears.

This is probably the first grocery store I have ever been to where I experienced this level of service and kindness. These people actually care about customers and are wonderful human beings. I will now choose this store every time.

And I also returned the next day to buy another bouquet from Destiny for my grandma. Again, and other stunning arrangement.

I rarely write reviews but this experience was so remarkable I had to let the world know.

Helpful staff. Good selection. Good location. And a really good pharmacy.

Unlike other Albertsons stores that I have visited, this store always has helpful and polite staff in the store. And when the weekly ad products are on sale and if it's out where its located they have no problem looking to see and retrieve any they might have in the back and bring it out to you. Thank you to all the great employees at the 257th Stark store.
