Safeway

This Safeway has been here for a long time. I remember going in here as a little kid in 1993 before the first remodel. It was the old red and white color scheme, similar to modern winco stores. There was a giant clock on the wall above the stairs. Everyone who worked here growing up was friendly and skilled at their tasks. They would connect with regular customers and it served a large number of locals. Really wonder if they still have the old change dispensers at checkout, haven't been in since 2010 to be honest. Wonder if Patrick still works customer service. There was also a lady I think her name was Joy. She was always incredibly friendly and happy when we shopped there

This Safeway has the BEST cake decorator! Her name is Anna, she has done several cakes for me, and she has exceeded my expectations every time. She goes above and beyond to meet your needs and is very nice. I highly recommend her.

I love getting gas ⛽ at Highland safeway because most of the staff is so friendly and helpful.
There's two particular staff who are so amazing, Jesse always offers to pump my gas even though I accidentally go serve with a smile & Henry always has an infectious laugh and says yes ma'am and thank you ma'am and you just don't see that around these parts.

I really appreciate the customer service here... just had an "my fault" mistake happen which could have ended up costing us a lot of money. Chelley was so kind and understanding. She offered multiple solutions and her patience was truly commendable. She even offered solutions for the future and explained the app to my mother so she would understand (since she wouldn't listen to me! Haha!) The way she treated us thru the whole experience is just another example why I love going to this Safeway even tho I live closer to another major grocery store. Thanks, Chelley!

Safeway has good name brand products at a price compared to days of old beware outside store can have a rough crowd lurking stay out of parking in shadows and or walking around at night I wouldn't recomend

Friendly staff and the location always has a wide variety of items on sale. I do most of my shopping here.

Staff, as always, were friendly & helpful. There's usually some pretty good deals to be found if you know how to coupon shop and keep your eye out for their clearance tags. Overall I say, "Great job!" as always to all the Safeway employees who show up and keep the grocery circle of life running. My thanks to you, one and all!

How busy or the wait line depends on the time and day you go. There's a lot of selections, but no clothes.

Lori was super cool! We just wanted to see if there was PH water here to refill our water and she went outside to check and let us know. It's not PH water but still she didn't have to and we appreciate it! =] keep up the great work!

I've been shopping at this shop for a while now and the fruit is still fresh, I love the cabbage here and the staff is friendly.

Employees were very helpful. I was trying to pay with 3 different cards and had a problem. One employee couldnt void the transaction so he got another employee to help me right away. Then a manager was called over because computer wasnt working correctly. The second employee went to a register and called me over while the manager brought my groceries that werent bagged up yet. No further issues, paid with 4 cards, got to use coupon I already put in the other machine and they treated me very well and were professional.

Best service out of all the safeways in the area.

Decent store but it’s kind of getting more and more rough at night

Always a clean and pleasant experience. The people at the meat counter are always lovely, and the front service people are most of the time super helpful and kind! We frequently have small issues with discount prices not working at checkout (we always self check), and they will always correct it there for us, you just have to ask and the front end workers are happy to help. The e-coupons are always an exciting find and very good prices. When you go at a normal time of day, everything is typically very well stocked and organized. We sometimes come later at night and the store is pretty picked over, but thats our own fault lol. I highly recommend the app for deals, they will cater suggestions to the things you purchase! Once you get over the weird feeling of the app having the knowledge of all of your purchases, its a pretty nice feature lol. Its always fun to see what different seasonal items they have, i loved the easter section while it was up! They usually have a pretty good selection of meats too which i sometimes have issues with at other stores . Sometimes there is a pretty long line at the self checkout but there are usually regular checkouts available, im just picky

Patrick at customer service is a sweetheart. Drive up and go gals are and have always been great. Pricy but what isn't I guess. Pharmacy is great, staff always working fast as they can but ends up being a bit of time. Could be the time of day but I've been at different times and days so idk, check the busy time of day schedule, Could help.

I really like this particular Safeway. The staff is so helpful. They are polite. They'll help with whatever you need. If something is their mistake, they fix it right away. The store is clean and the isle's are spacious and clean. The meat is amazing. They have great weekly specials like the items most people shop for. Try the reward points. I get free paper towels enough to last the whole month.

It is a great store and so much organization. So clean. I loved that corporate from Safeway was there and was willing to help me find items and answer questions I had, as well as asking their customers how was their day and saying hello. 😀 I loved that! It shows that they love their customers and wants to make sure the customer such as myself has a good shopping experience.
I love that I can shop 😌 there and receive my rewards and use my digital and paper coupons for deals! My favorite day is $5 Fridays!!!

Thank you at Safeway I will return and keep my shopping business there!

One of the nicest Safeways in the area!

I purposely go out of my way to go to this location, as opposed to the 122nd store, which I live a couple blocks away.

Always Clean, Well-Stocked, and Helpfull, Friendly staff with low wait times at registers.

The Grab n Go meals are fantastic, and as a Chef, I'm decerning about meals, when I don't have time, or too tired to cook. The Pepper-Beef and General Tsos chicken can rival, and beat out restaurant recipes.

It's a small thing, but I always walk out fully satisfied and happy to go out of my way to shop here.

The staff were friendly and helpful, while the aisles are very well stocked. I was looking for champagne and was lucky to find the last bottle of Moët Chandon on the shelves. Unfortunately they only had disposable champagne chutes and no real ones. I hope they can improve on this, and have real wine and champagne glasses.
