McMenamins Edgefield

It's definitely touristy, and the food is a bit overpriced, but I can't help but love it!! The concert venue was SO lovely and well organized, the rooms were vibey and comfortable, beer and food delightful.... my partner enjoyed the weirdly small gold course.... I adored Ruby's Spa (I just did the soaking pool).... definitely recommend checking it out.

A very unique location and experience huge campus with lots of different smallish bars scattered around the property. Little Red shed is a small tiny cottage bar with a awesome little fireplace and an intimate place to sit and have a beverage. One of the lesser known areas is on the third floor, claw foot tubs for a intimate shared experienced.
Don't forget the gaming center downstairs where they're shuffleboards and pool tables. You can also enjoy a walk around the golf course which is a nice break.

Such a cool place!! Room was historic and well done. Surprisingly quiet. Bed was comfortable. Shared bathrooms yes, but actually more private than I had thought. Restaurants and bars in eclectic abundance within a short walk, Look forward to having another reason to stay there.

At the end of November, I took my bf there to celebrate his birthday. We had a beautiful view and sunshine. Portland is a short drive away. The grounds are fantastic, and we explored, looking for all the little pubs. Enjoyed the soaking pool. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Very neat little place. We stopped there for a st paddy and ramble event. Place was packed and it’s so nice to see the community get behind somewhere that has been around for a while. It’s a classics place and check it out

A cool experience with art and history. We enjoyed the ambience and the exploration around the property. The staff was friendly and always happy to help.
We missed the distillery, winery and brewery tours due to thanksgiving but will try to plan and come back later. Many stamp opportunities at this site if you have a McMenamins passport.

Such a fun place for adults to hang out and enjoy movies, good food and drinks, a round of golf or live music.
Great venue for parties too.

The experience is 9/10. So much fun to walk around. Only wish that if you got a room with private bath, that it included a shower. Apparently (unknown to me) there are a couple of rooms that have a claw foot bathtub but no shower. Awesome if you prefer baths. I do not. The rooms are not fancy, but comfortable and functional. No TVs. They encourage you to get out and participate on campus, which was great. Lots of little places to explore and restaurants and bars to check out. And a Par 3 20 hole golf course. A short Par 3 (chip & putt). Lots of fun and vegan options for those of us who need it.

One of the largest McMenamins properties. 74 acres, with a golf course and vineyards. Wow! A "European style" hotel with centrally located restrooms/bathing facilities. There is a brewery, winery, and distillery on site, as well as a full spa for those seeking an all-encompassing relaxation experience.
Our social organization is s looking for a special date for an event in mid April, 2024. This location just went to the top of the list.

I absolutely love this hotel! They have 9 bars or more here! In the summer they have concerts. Some rooms are haunted. They have a spa, wine, beer, other drinks, and amazing food! Plus a theater and golf! They also do weddings! My husband and I will be going here later today for our anniversary. So you'll see another review, but that one will have pictures!

This place is one of our favorite places to stay. They have great rooms, wonderful soaking pool, spa, multiple restaurants and theater. We have stayed for friend trips, romantic getaways and game weekends where we hunkered in one of the game rooms and played the games we brought.

Planning my wedding and I can not believe how affordable this place is. It's already one of my favorite places on the planet (great food, fantastic cocktails, history, art, gardens, everything!!) And now I get to marry my best friend here.

Fun place to explore. Converted and old building into a hotel and restaurants. There's also a winery and distillery on site. Lots to see here.

Fun atmosphere, lots of history, quirky artwork, and decor unique to the McMenamins chain. This location has a few bars, food options, gardens, golf, hotel, wedding or party venues, pottery she'd needs improvement , still fun. The glass blower was very nice. We started and ended this visit in the wine bar. This was a friend's and family visit with two generations. We all had a great time.

We saw thundercat here. He put on a great show and the venue was really cool too. We will definitely be back again. Everything was clean and we were able to find a good spot. I also loved how much food and drink amenities they had. We got a giant soft pretzel and too many beers. I can't wait to go back

Location is pretty good, a bit tight along some driveways but would recommend! Great artwork, wineries and food! Blackberry cider is definitely worth trying!

So much to do and see here. Friendly staff, very cozy and comfortable. Love the outdoor fires around the property, several bars, food options, music, soaking pool is incredible, a huge property with many room options.

If I could remember all the times I stumbled barefoot down the hallways with a bottle of red wine humming the song he swore he’d written for me, there might be an independent film about our failed relationship.

My son came to visit and we had breakfast there before he left to go back home. I am GF and dairy so they were able to accommodate me. They did have GF bread. Everyone seemed happy with their meals. The Powerstation was closed so we did eat in the restaurant. The waitress was super friendly and she was quick. It was a great experience.

This is a must stay at location. It's so amazing like all the other locations but this location has so much land to walk around and explore. The rooms are clean amd the staff is great.
