The day I went was labor day. There was a lot and a lot of kids. People were playing chess game, tennis ball, basketball, biking, skateboarding. There is restroom, place to barbecue and have picnic. There is also a small little creek flowing along the park. There was plenty of parking lot to park your car. It was wheelchair accessible.

HV park is loaded with things to do. There is a little known dog park enclosure in the rear of the park over a wooden bridge. Restrooms and shelters are well managed. Parking can be an issue. Be clear with guests on exactly what part of the park you are at for clear navigation 💯.

A little out of the way unless you live nearby, but definitely worth the drive. Very well maintained. I was particularly impressed by the many trash cans. Walk the perimeter or take the trails, it’s all good. Dog owners have the choice of 3 separately enclosed off leash areas: large, small, and one for all sizes.

I grew up traversing the trails of this beautiful staple in my home community. I was once the kid kicking a soccer ball around the lush grass, playing countless little league games, and creating memories that I cherish to this day. Now, grown up, I get to walk my dogs here and watch as families keep this place lively and full of joy. And incredible asset to our community that I believe is appreciated, but understated.

This is a great park for kids. There are multiple playgrounds and a splash pad. Note that, if it is hot and sunny out, you may struggle to find shade, although there are a few covered places, because this park gets very busy. There are public restrooms. Lots of people walk their dogs here.

They're doing a lot of work in and around the park so it makes it very difficult to see it in its natural splendor. But my beloved wife and our dog had a fantastic walk and we got to see the entire park via our car as we looked around. We like to go to places where our pooch can get out and stretch and this was a very roomy and very beautiful park.

I have driven by here many times and now for the first time I decided to park and in ale a walk!!! The only disappointment I had was running out of time and having to go back to work! For me first experience visiting here it turned out to be a beautiful overcast day that wasn’t too cold and it stopped raining 🌧. I loved seeing the habit and the ducks 🦆 were surely energetic as well! Dog friendly park which makes another reason to come back with them. They have bags and trash 🗑 receptacles throughout the park.

Fun and crowded par with 3 parking lots. Has a skateboard ramp , softball and soccer fields, tennis, basketball courts, toddler park, and jet fountain for kids to play. Really nice layout park with walking trails to dog park.

This is a wonderful place to bird watch, walk, picnic, play frisbee, and take photos. The paths through the wetlands are wide, wheelchair accessible, and flat.

There are soccer fields, restrooms, a nice playground for kids as well. A dog park is located on the far south side of the park.

happy valley park has an amazing atmosphere with plenty of room to keep socially active while staying at a safe distance.

I like to play Frisbee & have a nice easy stroll on the boardwalk through quite wetlands.

this park can get busy on a sunny day however it is a big enough park for a small group if friends to have space to play most outdoor games & sports.

Reviews are personal: This is the Best park in entire Happy Valley Oregon which I knew. The park got couple big play areas for kids, few soccer courts, couple basketball courts, a sand volleyball court, walking track restrooms and much more. The highlight of the Park is wooden trail in the woods which is close to a mile where you can take a walk with your kids elders pets and see apple trees, berries and if you got luck you can see rabbits as well!!

This is a beautiful park! It offers multiple recreation areas, a natural path, skatepark, basketball and tennis courts, splash pad, sport fields along with a walking path and dog park. There are several picnic tables and covered areas. The restrooms are nicely maintained. If anything, parking can be a pain during busy events. But it’s the nicest park on the east side, hands down.

Happy Valley Nature Park is compact as city parks go, but it has a lot to offer. It's especially well-suited for young children because there are two playground areas, one for the very young kids and another, not far away, that accommodates kids of all ages. It also has courts and /or fields for many sports including soccer baseball football tennis and basketball. There are areas for picnicking and a wonderful 3 mile looping boardwalk style nature trail that takes you through beautiful wooded areas. And, perhaps best of all, during the summer months there's a splash pad that kids of all ages find a fantastic source of fun!

This is one of the best parks I’ve ever been to! It has EVERYTHING! I went specifically for the dog park. They have three. One for large dogs, one for small dogs, and one for any dog. We just wanted to play ball so the one for any dog was perfect for us as it was empty!

Great park for kids and adults. Love the summer concerts held here during July-August. The playstructure facilities have been updated and are all-inclusive now. Great place to also hold a birthday party!

Another great harvest festival at HVP, this year it was also a Oktoberfest. Got some cool free pumpkins. 🍊🎃This is one of our favorite parks,we live in Portland, and it is a quick drive right up Foster road. It has it all. 3 play structures for multiple ages. Splash pad. Picnic tables. Skate park. Tennis courts. A nice loop nature walk with a pond with ducks. A rec. Mobile comes weekly in the summer. They have summer concerts. And they have a annual Fourth of July celebration, beginning in the morning with a nature walk, then a parade, a all day event with food venders, music, rides, crafts, giveaways, ect.. concluding with a firework show.

This is a beautiful inviting park. Today, I especially appreciated the dog park. All of the other dog attendants were pleasant and accepting of our gregarious, friendly dog, too.

Had an hour to fill while visiting my daughter in Portland. Beautiful park with several paved trails and wooden bridges leading to 3 large off leash dog areas. A nice gazebo as well.
